    Hello Jos,

Once you assign the "Editor" role for your client in your WordPress dashboard, in the Brizy Role Manager, kindly assign the default "Full Access" option. Your client will have access to the "Edit with Brizy" button with this combination.

You received free access to Brizy Cloud PRO for two years when you purchased the Brizy PRO Lifetime package. After the two year period, you can access PRO elements in the builder but are unable to publish using custom domains. The PRO parts in the builder are accessible to you when you are in your own "workspace" as the "Admin".  You are restricted in your access as an "Editor" in Betty's workspace.

    Hi KC,

But this is via WordPress. If I give my client full access she can run the layout.
Is this linked to Brizy Cloud in any way. In this way I can't use it for a client who wants to adjust text and images safely.
How can I solve this? Thanks, Jos

    Hello Jos,

The above instructions are for WordPress. Kindly do not get alarmed by the phrase "Full Access" under Brizy Role Manager. By putting the above advice into practice, you will have exactly what you are looking for: the client will only be able to change text and images. Kindly implement my suggestion and verify the client's access after logging into his account.

    Hi KC,

Thanks for your fast respons. I tested it out loggin in as an editor. The editor kan only edit text an images as stated. But he also kan set another styling from the menu on the side so other colors, set the size of H1 etc and drag blocks to another place. So that could be tricky. Not like a editor in Cloud.

    regards, Jos

    Hi Jos,

    I appreciate your cooperation.

I’ve set up a new user with the Editor role but wasn’t able to replicate the issue as described. You can see this in the screencast below:

    https://youtu.be/MlFyAMWz1D0

Could you provide the exact steps to reproduce the issue, or perhaps record a screencast to demonstrate it? That would help me better understand the problem and investigate further.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Ariel,

Sorry for the late reaction, I have been very busy. I saw your screencast. But there I see that you can do more then I want an editor to be able to do. I want the editor to edit only text and images. Nothing more. That is what an editor in Brizy WordPress role is supposed to do. Now he can manipulate the lay-out and make it look bad.

At this point the website form is not showing again and there is no good lay-out. But thats another issue wich I already placed a question for. I think this is related to 2 accounts. One for my wife with 10 cloud pro domains and one for me: a lifetime deal with WordPress.

    regards, Jos

    Hello Jos,

Within the default Editor role of WordPress, what you have described above is the best than can be accomplished.

I have replied to your post about the Contact form.

    Hi KC

But before it could be set that an editor could only edit text and images in Brizy WP and Cloud.
So it would be "monkey proof" . I saw these in a tutorial of JP. Why can't it be set as that?
    Regards, Jos

    Hello Jos,

You're right; with Brizy Cloud, "Editors" could only edit text and images and could not access the "Styling" panel or the Brizy "Elements" panel. But right now, the "Editor" role isn't functioning correctly in Brizy Cloud. We're working on fix it.
