Missing details using Brizy form for GetResponse
Hi there,
I really appreciate the great forms of brizy - especially with my beloved email provider integrated.
Submitting the forms and receiving the data works perfect - but - there is a significant option missing, ruining my plan using brizy forms so far: "Add to autoresponder cycle".
This is normally a checkbox or a input field to set the day of the cycle.
Currently the contacts are inserted in the contact list without the cycle - means, that nobody get's the welcome message of the autoresponders / marketing series built on that.
Is there a quick fix to solve this with an filter / hook in functions.php to set it manually - AND - could you please insert a checkbox / input field (whatever works best with getresponse) to make it permanent function in Brizy?
Thanks for your help and the support solving it.
Best,
Martin

Hello Martin,
While Brizy Form's API integration with GetResponse adds contacts to your subscriber database; it does not set auto responder for the specific contact; it is not included as part of Brizy's API integration with GetResponse.
To overcome this limitation, kindly consider creating your opt-in form using the GetResponse Form builder. After that, you can use the Brizy Embed element to embed the GetResponse form on your Brizy page. An autoresponder tool available in GetResponse can be set up for a subscriber list. Please contact their support to find out if their autoresponder will work if you add contacts using their embed form.

Hello K C George,
thanks for your reply and the suggestion.
Maybe there's a misunderstanding about the autoresponders feature, because it's not ment to add the contacts specifically to a autoresponders. It's just about an num-value from 0 upwards which can (must) be set while adding the contact.
This is not a extra function like Add Contact -> done. ->Add to autoresponder.
It's like Add contact with value of autoresponder-cycle (default null) -> done.
The thing is, that this little number is a serious blocker for me to use Brizy forms, which was one of the key features not to use another creepy form builder with some other pagebuilder.
I'd be happy to have maybe a quick solution and a persistant one (which other users using GetResponse will also have in future). Otherwise you also can leave the integration behind - which could also be a solution.
Please don't get me wrong - this is a friendly eye-opener to this and might be rooted in a misunderstanding :).
Thanks for your help - I appreciate it!
Best,
Martin

Hello Martin,
We are aware that to set the autoresponder day, we only need to pass on a numerical value along with the contact details. At the moment, Brizy's API integration with various email marketing providers just adds the contact; it excludes other parameters like the autoresponder day.
Have you considered the possibility of designing your signup form using the GetResponse form builder following the procedure at https://www.getresponse.com/help/how-can-i-add-a-signup-form.html? In the form builder, you can select the "Add to an auto responder cycle" option under the sign up form tab.
Once you complete the form design, you can embed the form to your Brizy page following the procedure at https://www.getresponse.com/help/how-do-i-embed-an-inline-content-s-snippet-code-on-my-website.html

Hi K C George,
I just hoped that Brizy would connect in a good way and the support are seriously helping with the problem without pointing to external tools I don't want to use.
I appreciate you trying to solve the issue this way, but this is not what I paid for and what I want to have as an customer: A whole set of external tools while the focus on the Wordpress Versions seems to get lower and lower.
On this point mixed with my other issues I have, I canceled my pro license feeling betrayed with things like "w have a getresponse api natively (unsaid: with letting our crucial functions)".
Please close this issue, my solution was found (in canceling).
Best,
Martin
