    Hello Bo Frilund,

We have not made progress in fixing this issue. If you would like to fix this issue in your project immediately, kindly consider uploading your video to one of these digital asset management providers and adding it s a background video using the URL option.

Have a look at https://brizy.online/video-background/ for an example. On this page, I am using a video uploaded to Cloudinary. Take a look at this tutorial for the procedure Custom Video URL for Block Backgrounds Even though the tutorial is made for Brizy Cloud, you can follow the same procedure for Brizy WP.

    Thank you for your reply.

Please inform, when can we expect some progress from your side in fixing this issue?

We wish to continue linking to YouTube videos as done so far.

    Hello Bo Frilund,

It is not easy to estimate when this bug fix can be released. It may take from a few weeks to a few months.

Needles to say that this is very disappointing.

Please update us when you have a more concrete estimation on when we can expect the issue to be fixed.

    Hello Bo Frilund,

Looks like YouTube requires their branding to appear in embedded videos. You can see a discussion on this at https://support.google.com/youtube/thread/279544598/how-to-hide-youtube-logo-video-title-and-any-other-element-in-youtube-embedded-videos

The "modestbranding" parameter was previously used to hide the YouTube logo from the player controls. YouTube has now deprecated the modestbranding parameter. As a result, it is no longer possible to completely remove the YouTube logo, video title, or other branding elements from embedded videos. You can see the deprecation announcement at https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters#august-15,-2023
