2nd SEO Plugin wipes out formatting
SlimSEO and now RankMath SEO BOTH wipe out formatting on the blog section.
1. Please fix this as now it really is BRIZY that is the problem.
2. Please fix Brizy as not having an SEO Plugin is a problem.
I need my site fixed ASAP as i can't get it back to the way it was supposed to be!!!!

Hi Michael,
Thank you for reaching out.
To better understand and replicate the issue, could you share a short screencast? I have SlimSEO installed on my test site, but I haven’t been able to reproduce the problem.
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,

SlimSEO was the original problem, you fixed that. RankMath caused the exact same problem. You said that SlimSEO had a bug, I notified them. But this is the 2nd SEO plugin that caused the same problem, so I think it is a Brizy bug.
I just sent a password reset to you for your admin account.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for the update. It seems we haven't received the credentials yet. Could you also provide us with FTP/cPanel access so we can investigate the issue further?
I’ve set up a test environment with the same plugins, but I wasn’t able to replicate the issue. Having direct access to your WordPress files on the server may help us diagnose the problem.
Please send the credentials to communitysupport@gmail.com.
Best regards,

Any update? I sent out the credentials as asked. My client is having a fit since 100+ of their blog articles are improperly formatted.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your cooperation.
After checking, it looks like the issue was related to the '/blog' slug. Changing it to '/blogs' seems to have resolved the problem. I also installed SlimSEO, and everything appears to be working now.
This likely happened because '/blog' was still reserved by pages in the Trash. Even when a page is trashed, WordPress keeps its slug, preventing new pages from using the same URL.
Please check on your end and let me know if everything is working as expected.

Yes, it is working. So, the SEO plugin wasn't the issue? I know that you said SlimSEO was the culprit. Can I now reinstall it?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for the update.
As I mentioned in my previous reply, Slim SEO was already installed, and we tested it to confirm that everything is working properly.
It’s likely that Slim SEO was still referencing the /blog slug, which was no longer valid, leading us to initially assume it was causing the issue. This may have also been the case when using Rank Math or any other SEO plugin, as the conflict appears to be related to the reserved /blog slug rather than the plugin itself.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
Best regards,
Ariel H.0
