Issue with Page Returning to Anchor in URL
We are using anchor links on our website (e.g., https://www.krr.cz/#aktualni) to direct users to specific sections. The anchors work correctly and move the page to the intended section.
However, we are facing an issue in the following scenario:
- The user navigates to an anchor link (e.g.,
#aktualni). - They scroll further down the page.
- They click on a project, which takes them to another page.
- When they return to the main page, instead of landing where they left off, the page automatically scrolls back to the anchor (
#aktualni).
We need the page to return to the same scroll position where the user left off, rather than always jumping back to the anchor.
Questions:
- Is there a way in Brizy to prevent the page from automatically returning to an anchor when navigating back?
- Can Brizy be configured to restore the last scroll position instead of scrolling to the anchor?
- Is it possible to remove the anchor from the URL after the page has loaded so that it does not reset when returning?
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Matej,
Thank you for contacting us.
I understand how important it is for users to return to the same scroll position rather than automatically jumping back to the anchor.
Currently, Brizy relies on standard browser behavior for anchor links, and there's no built-in setting to prevent this behavior. Unfortunately, we don’t have a direct option available within Brizy to accomplish this.
However, we encourage you to submit your suggestion as a feature request at https://www.brizy.io/ideas-and-roadmap. This platform helps us better track suggestions and prioritize feature requests based on user needs and community feedback.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
