Having issue connecting business email address to brand new website
I created a brand new website for a client with Brizy Cloud. They previously had an old website with a business email attached to that domain name hosted by Register.com.
I had to reset their nameservers to default to forward their domain to Brizy Cloud.
Because of that reset their business email address is no longer receiving any mail. The tech support told me to get the MX record from the email provider and then connect the MX record within the DNS managment.
I was trying to find the email provider but the A record points to Brizy Cloud.
I'm lost right now on how to resolve this because my client gets their billing information to this email.
Please help.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hello Ryan,
A Name Server hosts both the hosting-related DNS records like A record and CNAME record pointing to a web server and email-related MX records which specify where to send emails for a domain. When you switched their Name Servers, you lost the the MX Records that were added to the previous name servers.
Kindly check with your client about their current email hosting provider. Your client's email hosting provider will supply the MX records required to route the domain to the relevant mail servers. You can add it to your new Name Server when your client provides you with the MX Records from his email hosting provider.
