    Hi Diego

    Thank you for contacting us.

Here are my answers to your questions:

    1. Yes, you can choose to have a non-www version for your Brizy site. You can set this up in your domain settings or through your hosting provider. However, for SEO purposes, Google prefers HTTPS.

    2. For the redirects, you can easily handle this by using a plugin like Really Simple SSL. This plugin will automatically manage redirects from the non-www and HTTP versions of your pages to the preferred HTTPS and www version.  For more information, please refer to this link:
    https://wpastra.com/guides-and-tutorials/fix-mixed-content-error/

If you'd prefer to use www, you can update your Home and Site URL under Settings → General, as shown in the example below, update this before installing Really Simple SSL.

Please try this and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

Thank you but I'm not using Brizy Wordpress, I'm using Brizy Cloud.

Please show how I can use the non-www version on Brizy Cloud.

    Hello Diego,

We apologize for our previous reply. To redirect the root domain to www in your Brizy Cloud website, kindly consider adding a URL redirect record to your domain name in your domain control panel. For example, I have added the below URL redirect record to the domain name rishikeshwalks.in

         URL Redirect Record        @       https://www.rishikeshwalks.in/    Permanent (301)

This redirect record helps to implement the following redirects

Thank you! While the domain is registered at NameCheap, the DNS for the domain is within CloudFlare. (CloudFlare doesn't have the "URL Redirect Record" unfortunately like NameCheap does.)
Do you have a CloudFlare solution to get the non-www version?

    Hello Diego,

In your Cloudflare Dashboard for the domain, kindly navigate to Rules > Overview and under the heading "Redirect from Root to WWW" click on "Create A Rule" button.

In the subsequent page, scroll down to the bottom and click on the "Deploy" button to apply the redirect rule.

The Redirect Rule you just added should be visible in your dashboard like this.

Thank you! Once again, the goal here is to redirect to the non-www version of the domain. I have enabled their provided "Redirect from WWW to Root" template rule. However, now I keep receiving a "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" error. How can we resolve?

    Hello Diego,

You will find these two templates in your Cloudflare account

    1. Redirect from WWW to Root
    2. Redirect from Root to WWW

    Kindly select the second template

Thank you! I'm confused though. I do NOT want the "www" version of the website. Are you still saying I should use the "Redirect from Root to www" option?

    Hello Diego,

One of the two questions you had asked us when you opened this ticket was

    2. How can I add a redirect in the Brizy with the following configuration?:

    http://domain.com/contact -> https://www.domain.com/contact

The above redirect is what is intended in the Root to www redirect in Cloudflare.

    Sorry for the confusion.

I mistakenly wrote an incorrect example as you pointed out.

I don't want the WWW version.

Please show me how I can get the non-www version of Brizy site using CloudFlare for the DNS.

    Hello Diego,

We have not yet successfully redirected a Brizy Cloud domain from www to the root using Cloudflare. Kindly follow the procedure provided at https://developers.cloudflare.com/rules/page-rules/how-to/url-forwarding/

Okay, here is my dilemma. I recently migrated my website from WordPress to Brizy. Previously, the site was indexed by Google using the non-WWW version of the domain. However, Brizy only allows the WWW version of the domain, and I have not found a way to enable the non-WWW version.

The issue is that Brizy’s built-in redirect options only work within the WWW version of the site. This means I cannot set up a top-level 301 redirect from the non-WWW version to the WWW version. As a result, pages that were previously indexed under the non-WWW URL are now appearing as unredirected in Google Search Console. This is creating duplicate content issues and affecting my site's SEO.

I need a way to implement a 301 redirect at the domain level so that all traffic from the non-WWW version properly redirects to the corresponding WWW version of the site. If enabling the non-WWW version in Brizy is not possible, what solutions are available to ensure these redirects are properly set up?

    Hello Diego,

Have you implemented the 301 redirect using the "Redirect from Root to WWW" template in Cloudflare and checked if this would resolve the above problem?

I'll give that a try, thanks!

Do you know what causes this error in the URL:

And on the page, I'm seeing: "Project not configured"

    Hello Diego,

    Kindly check your CNAME record.

Kindly ensure that DNS Proxy is not enabled for your A and CNAME records

You may need to delete these records
