How to shorten the article text snippet in the posts component

Hi, how can I shorten the article text snippets in the posts component display? The snippets are too long, and use up a lot of the page space.

  Hello Michael,

  I checked your blog at https://darkturquoise-crocodile-223672.hostingersite.com/blog/ Looks like you could set excerpt length for your blog posts. In the Blocksy theme, it is set under Appearance > Customize > Blog Posts > Card Options > Excerpt > Length

  Hi, we're using Brizy Wordpress Pro - do I need to customize the theme in blocksy?

  Hello Michael,

  Yes; the blog post Excerpt length is set in your theme customizer. If you need to reduce or increase the excerpt length, you can set it in your WordPress Dashboard under Appearance > Customize > Blog Posts > Card Options > Excerpt > Length.

  Yes: the Blocksy theme usually works well with Brizy
