Tranferring Website

Hi, 

I need to transfer one of my clients site as the client wants to shift the site in his own hosting and further manage himself? Does he need to buy his own brizy plugin? How will it work?

  Hello Vikas,

  Based on your future relationship with your client, you will have to make one of these decisions.

  • If you continue to maintain his website after it has been migrated to his own hosting, you can install a Brizy Pro license for your client. 
  • If your customer decides to stop working with you and wants to keep using the design created using Brizy he should purchase his own Brizy Pro license.

  Ok George. But generally no one tells a client that which plugin is used in making the site so from client's perspective, he hired us to create a website and now if he quits with us, he has to buy the plugin. I mean he can be irritated by listening to this. Can you please clarify a bit how to deal this situation.

  Hello Vikas,

  You could give your client these two options as part of your project handover.

  1. Redesign the website using a page builder of your choice
  2. Retain the current design and continue to use Brizy page builder to maintain the website. You will need the "Personal" plan at https://www.brizy.io/pricing-wordpress to edit your website if you choose this option
