Customise Protected Project not working

I tried to customise my Protected Project page (under Project Settings -> System Pages).

Now that I've customised it, any page that is password protected, doesn't load anymore (yes, even with the right password). It just stays on the Custom Protected Project Page.

Only when I turn off the customisation again, it works again. 

Can someone help?

  Hello 

  The "Protected Project" option under CMS > Project Settings > System Pages is to password protect an entire project. 

  

   

  The "Protected" option under Page Settings is to protect individual pages.  

  

   

  Please use one of the two options, depending on your goal. It is uncommon to provide password protection at both the project and page levels.

  Hello

  Yes; you can customize the design of the Protected Page under CMS > Project Settings > System Pages by clicking on the "Edit" icon next to the "Protected Page" option
