Global sections still disappear if I try to update Brizy & Brizy Pro
Several months ago I found a work around for the issue, which involves reverting back to old versions of the Brizy and Brizy Pro plugins. This workaround does work... However, I am really starting to get concerned about security issues that are going to arise from not keeping them updated.
Heres' a quick video showing the issues I'm facing
I manage probably so many websites that I have built on Brizy... Many have a lot of pages, I truly do not want to have to rebuild and/or edit each and every global section I have on all of the sites/pages just to be able to update Brizy.
Is there a fix for this that I have missed? Could you please point me in the right direction? Or, do you think I will in the end have to go through everything to rebuild and remove all of my global sections?

Hi Gina,
Thank you for contacting us, and for taking the time to create the screencast.
The steps you followed in the screencast are correct. After updating from the old versions to the new ones, please try editing any page or the homepage, go to the global header, and add 1px of padding on all sides (you can revert these changes later). Then, preview the front end to see if this resolves the issue. I’ve tested this on a few websites, and it seems to have fixed the problem.
Please give this a try and let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,
