images, icons, contact forms issues
Hi,
Some images and icons and contact forms not showing on a number of sites since the update today.
Some are on different hosting companies, some use different caching/no caching.
They all look fine in the editor but not on live sites.
Some example:
https://www.tap5star.com/how-it-works/ (circles should have icons)
https://www.croydonmassage.co.uk/ (top bar empty - no social icons)
cjclean.co.uk (contact forms and icons)
webbd.co.uk - have put in maintenance mode
All on WordPress Pro. Some on Blocksy, some on Brizy theme.
Thanks

Hi Claudia,
Thank you for contacting us
Could you provide us temporary access to your WP Admin page on one of the affected sites so we can investigate? Please add us as an Admin user to your WordPress Dashboard and share the following details with us at communitysupport@brizy.io:

In the meantime, try adding 1px padding in all sides on the affected block and hit update. This should force the layout to update. Preview the front end and see if this resolves the issue.

The same here in some 5 websites at least (still checking).
And when I try to re-upload the photos I am getting a "failed to upload" message even for media already stored.
Given that it was the only update today it is definitely related.
Thank you.

I have also installed version 2.6.3 of Brizy Pro yet it still does the same.
I cannot find the previous version of Brizy though. It would help if there was a roll-back version available for such cases given that we are working on production sites.
Thank you.

The same issue occurred for me on all pages since the latest update.
Brizy 2.64 → 2.6.7 and Brizy 2.63 → 2.6.4
Forms, images and frames, icons, padding, etc. are broken0 -
Having the same issue. I have a few clients needing their sites fixed ASAP, is there a way to roll back the update to the previous version temporarily just to get them back in order for the time being?
Thank you,
Jordan0 -
I'm having the same issue. Contact forms are not working sitewide; they are only showing white blocks. Image masks aren't working either. Everything looks fine on the page builder side, but the live site is another story. Please fix this issue ASAP. Thank you!

Hi Ariel.
Thank you for the directions.
Unfortunately it still doesn't work.
I have as instructed deactivated-deleted and re-installed the versions provided in the links above.
The system updated almost immediately these versions to 2.6.7 and 2.6.4 and I am still facing a partial websites meltdown. In all my sites there are issues just different in each case and length. Images still fail to load or even imported as new.
This is gradually becoming severe for my business because my clients are complaining about their websites.
I understand that the issue has been escalated and I would greatly appreciate a swift resolution.
Is it possible to get Brizy v2.6.3 and Brizy Pro 2.6.2 , to roll-back that is and disable auto-updates until you come up with a permanent fix?
Best regards,
Thanasis

Hi,
I downloaded Brizy 2.6.4 from your link above, but when trying to upload it it returns - The link you followed has expired.
I downloaded the Pro 2.6.3 from your website and that uploaded fine, but issues still persist on my website so I will need the free version 2.6.4 still.
Thanks

Quick update: Disabling auto-updates and working with the 2.6.4 & 2.6.3 works!
I am fine with that.
Thank you Ariel!
If it's not too much to ask when you resolve the issue entirely and release the new update please update this thread so as to re-enable auto-updates.
Best,
Thanasis

Thanks. I was able to download/upload it. Icons have come back, but not form or images. Again, fine in editor, no caching, and am checking in Incognito. I also tried deactivating all other plugins but it made no difference. I only tried on the website I already sent you login details for.

Hi Claudia,

Kind regards,

Yes that's working! On the Contact page the contact form wasn't showing properly initially, but deleting a pixel and saving brought it back fine. I'll try the other sites now. Thanks!

Just wanted to let you know that all websites have been updated and no more issues on any of them. Thank you. I did have to check each page and update some individually for maps, slider, icons, contacts forms not showing properly, but deleting a pixel and updating brought it all back. Many thanks.

Hi Ariel,
I thought that this update would fix things but I am still having the same issue with the broken links (mainly in images and not all of them).
I tried to restore manually those broken images on a page but I am still getting the same message "Image failed to upload" even if this image is in the media folder.
I have also deactivated-deleted-and reinstalled once again the new versions from scratch.
Is this issue treated as resolved, meaning that there were no other incidents reported after the update or should I expect for another update? I need to know whether to roll-back to versions 2.6.4/2.6.3.
Thank you.

Hi Ariel,
Thank you for reaching out.
I am currently going through each subsite individually to fix those image links, image/video backgrounds, shortcode blocks, forms and block conditions appearing as broken or switched to an arbitrary value. So far so good!
There is one website insisting in giving me the message "Failed to import" when in fact I am asking in an image block to use an existing file in the media folder. However, as in this site alone I have the ScrollSequence plugin activated which manages an enormous amount of images in the media folder I believe that this issue is indirectly related to Brizy's denial of service :-) . I have deactivated it and re-tested but still no improvement. Given that this specific website was under development, I will reconstruct it over the weekend and hopefully it will work.
Therefore, there is no need currently for you to go through my multisite and I will report back if this reconstruction resolved the issue. Also if it is of any help to other people reading this: switching themes or disabling cache etc had no effect on yesterday's issue.
Best regards,
Thanasis
