How to remove Javascript from the pages ?
Hello George,
It seems that adding Javascript snippets to add Chatbots for example results in leaving code multiple times, that breaks the functioning of the Chatbots.
The support of InsertChat told me this: "A brief inspection of your website's HTML reveals that the variable ICG_BOT_ID appears 3 times, which should not happen."
Could you look and tell me how i can remove the multiple code, to try to make those chatbots work ?
Thanks in advance for your help, best
Ulrich

Hello Ulrich,
You have added the InsertChat code both under CMS - Project Settings - Code - Code injection > Header and on the homepage under the heading "InsertChat
I see the ICG_BOT_ID in the page source only once. On the homepage you have embedded the chat using an iframe and the code does not include ICG_BOT_ID. Have a look at https://jmp.sh/DwTYiScl for my test.

Thank you George
I forwarded your video to the support of InsertChat, to ask them to provide me with more information regarding this duplication of code. I will keep you updated.
Anyways, thanks so much for your fast support, i really appreciate. Can you send me some links where i can write you a very positive testimonial ?
Thanks, Ulrich

Hello George
I published a review on Trustpilot, will look for g2.
I got following answer from InsertChat:
- See the screenshot below that shows the presence of 3 variables, ICG_BOT_ID, on chatbotia.ch.I search for this variable in the code of the page, found only 1 time.
I'm not a developer, so i'm lost here.In the end, it's not working to integrate that Chatbot, and it creates problem with the popup Chatbot, even if i remove the embedded Chatbot. What could i do ?
Thanks for your help, Ulrich0 -
Hi Ulrich,
Thank you for the update.
I’ve tested the chatbot, and it seems to be working on my end. You can view the test here: https://youtu.be/XeX1JRIeKxw.
Could you please provide more details about the issue you're experiencing?

Hi Ulrich,
Thank you for the update.
After checking, it appears that the script under InsertChat is not rendering on the front-end.
Could you please send me a copy of the scripts used on your site so I can replicate the issue in my test environment? If there are any references or instructions from the developers regarding the scripts, please include those as well.
Please send the details to communitysupport@brizy.io and include this reference number in the subject line: 23830886558098.
Kind regards,

Hi Ulrich,
Thank you for your cooperation.
The problem with both scripts not working on the same page is because they are using the same settings and loading the same external script twice (https://app.insertchat.com/widgets/chatbot.js).
When the second script runs, it changes the settings from the first script. This means only the second chatbot will work, and the first one stops working.
To address this issue, please contact InsertChat support to confirm whether their scripts supports multiple chatbots on a single page. They might offer a different method to initialize multiple bots.
Best regards,
Ariel H.0
