    Hi Mahesh,

As an alternative to https://abcxyz.com?ref=ku7n2 please try https://abcxyz.com/?ref=ku7n2 (with the forward slash immediately after the root domain). Checkout https://brizy.online/affiliate-link/ and click the "Affiliate Link" button and see if the URL parameter stays on the URL.

    Dear K.C.George,

Thanks for looking into this. The thing that is causing this problem is not the forward slash immediately after the root domain but using www in the domain name. The URL parameter stays only if the URL starts with www otherwise it is doing a redirection and the URL parameters are lost.

For example in the following URL the URL parameters are lost:

    https://abcxyz.com?ref=ku7n2

It works if the URL is

    https://www.abcxyz.com?ref=ku7n2

The difference is adding www to the URL. If you could fix this, then the problem will be solved.

    Thanks and Regards.

    Hello Mahesh,

Brizy Cloud websites cannot be published on the root domain. The root domain gets redirected to the www version.

If the affiliate URL https://www.abcxyz.com?ref=ku7n2 works, why not give it a try? Or is there a reason why you prefer https://abcxyz.com?ref=ku7n2

    Dear K.C.George,

The problem is the affiliate links are generated by third party saas and not by us. The affiliates register at the affilate saas provider and get their affiliate link. That is the reason for the missing www in the URL, and it is not that we prefer the URL without www.

    Thanks and Regards.

    Hello Mahesh,

Does that imply that your affiliate SAAS provider does not offer affiliate links that can be customized, as described at https://docs.uppromote.com/settings/affiliate-link-settings/custom-link?. If they don't, Brizy Cloud and your affiliate system are incompatible with each other.
