Failed to upload file

I got the message "Failed to upload file" when I attempt to upload a image from the media library. Please advise.

  The "Failed to upload file" message often appears when the file exceeds the upload limit set on the server. To resolve this, please try increasing the upload limit. You can do this through your hosting provider's settings:

  Otherwise, please contact your hosting provider so they can update this for you.
