    Hello Rodrigo,

Automatic translations in Brizy Cloud is powered by Google. In the past, the Brizy Cloud used its own Google Translate API key to make automatic translations available to all its users. The Google Translate API free tier has an upper limit of 500,000 characters per month and we have exhausted the limit.

To make more free translations available, we now allow you to connect to Google's Cloud Translation service using your own API key. This will allow you to auto translate up to 500,000 characters per month. To use the Brizy Cloud automatic translation service, you will need to generate a Google Cloud Translation API key at https://console.cloud.google.com/ We will soon update this thread with the procedure to generate the API key.

    Hello Rodrigo,

Kindly generate a Google Cloud Translations API key following the steps outlined at https://jmp.sh/cPKgBpSh. Please remember these points.

    • Google requires you to add a credit/debit card to your Billing account and link your Google Cloud project with your Billing account before enabling the Translation API service. If you have not already, you will be prompted to add a Billing account and add a payment method and validate it.
    • The card is validated by making a small transaction and reversing it. Your will be charged for Translation service only if you cross your limits of 500,000 characters per month

    Hi K C,

We did all of that days ago - but I believe our account is still hanging.

    Here is what happened.

Our pro account went to free account as an old card was registered.

We renewed the account with a new payment method and since then the translation is hanging.
First gave us an error and since then never translated more than 3 words.

We added the API directly after we saw there is now an API key - but also that never started the translation again. Maybe our server needs to be restarted?

Just checked the api never got an request from the server.thanks

On new created pages (already a week old) that actually have text this appears in translation module:

    Hi Rodrigo,

All strings have translations in six of the fourteen languages you have added, but the translations in the remaining eight languages are incomplete. I have reported this issue and we are looking into it. We may need some time to fix this issue.

    Hello Rodrigo,

Unfortunately we do not have progress on this issue. Languages beyond the first 6 have only 30-40% auto translations. We are still working on a fix for this issue.
