Major headache - Brizy bug?/huge limitation
7802fa
Hi Team,
Can you please have your development team fix a major, major shortcoming within Brizy builder, specifically that is it reverts backs multiple changes and is totally unreliable anytime there is a network issue where connectivity to a page one is editing is momentary disrupted. On 3 separate occasions I have lost hours of edit work where Brizy forced a refresh and said something like "you must refresh, you probabbly edited this from another page", when I had not and no one else is editing the page. It's is beyond wildly unhelpful and frustrating when hours of editing work, which I had saved and tested was saved by Brizy is lost.
I expect your dev team will say 'this isn't a bug, but a feature...', but seriously, rather than simply jettisoning scores of changes to a page, can they please urgently implement a feature that SAVES the changes and doesn't revert without the users explicit permission. This ability to keep a log and show different versions of a page is something that has been around for decades in other web based editors and it's very frustrating, not to mention, incredibly time wasting to have good design changes been deleted/lost simply because of a network issue or simply Brizy editor thinking the page was edited in another page.
I'm now having to start all over again (the second time in 36 hours) on making changes to a page which is incredibly disruptive and business impacting to us.
Thank you,
Tom

Hi Tom,
Thank you for your detailed feedback. I understand how frustrating this issue can be, and I have shared your concerns in our internal chat to ensure they are noticed.
I encourage you to also post this on our Ideas and Roadmap page at https://www.brizy.io/ideas-and-roadmap. This platform helps us track suggestions more effectively and prioritize feature requests based on user needs.
We appreciate your input as we work towards improving Brizy Builder.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
It just happened again, and I've now lost about 3 hours of work! I had been clicking update as I went however Brizy has just done another reset of the page and I'm back to where I was 3 hours ago, so please tell me you have some way on the backend to recover/restore the page and all the changes I made to it?
The page I'm working on is this:
https://admin.brizy.io/projects/21559546/editor/page/6224550
This is for an urgent launch so your prompt help in this matter is appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Ariel,
I discovered the cached preview page with my changes still existed and so I went out and back in and the changes thankfully appear to be there. However, given this has happened 3 times today, I've got real concern about this happening again with Brizy. So is there someway to disabling this 'kicking users out' spontaneously when there is only one person editing a page? Or how can we ensure it doesn't happen again.
As you can imagine, this 'russian roulette' editing Brizy is doing isn't helpful or confidence building the changes will be and are saved (even when I have hit update and it has saved the changes but later does this reset process).
Thanks,
Tom

How do I display posts in a list format instead of Grid format. I have being working with Brizy pro but I have failed to find away to display dynamic posts in a list format other than the preset Grid format which is good but I need a different way of listing my posts or post types

Hello Tom,
We again apologise for the inconveniences you have had with editing your TSFC SP project.
You have mentioned "So is there someway to disabling this 'kicking users out' spontaneously when there is only one person editing a page? Or how can we ensure it doesn't happen again" It should be impossible to force you to log out while you are editing a page because the "Transformational Storytelling for Coaches" workspace only has a single Team Member. This is only possible when multiple team members are working together in the same workspace. We don't know how that happened on your end.
Your changes are saved when you click the "Update" button at the bottom right corner of the Brizy editor. We haven't encountered any situations where the page reverts to a previous version after making an update. Did this happen once or is it a regular occurrence?
