Brizy cloud - old site before 2021

Hello there,

it looks like that my site there still hasn't been added the blogging features of the new sites. Is there the only way to make a new site or is there any other way? I didn't see any new posts (after 2021) about this issue.

  Hello Boštjan,

  You're right; projects built prior to February 2021 lack a number of features that were introduced later, such as blogging, multilingual capability, collaboration, AI builder, etc. Regretfully, the ability to automatically migrate previous projects to the new project format is not available.

  However you can recreate the projects in the current Brizy Cloud project format, following a manual process.

  1. Save each page as a layout in the old project (see the attached image)
  2. Create a new project and add pages one by one and import the page layouts saved in step 1
  3. Copy paste the global styles and typography from the old to the new project
  4. Recreate menu, setup global blocks and display conditions
  5. Re-setup the email notifications for Brizy forms in the new project

  Hello again K C,

  I have a question regarding import of a site. I can see you can export the site in "html". Can you import it back to B.cloud again?

  And i am also interested if it is made with Brizy WP, can i import it to B.cloud?

  Hello Boštjan,

  Importing of an HTML website into Brizy Cloud is not possible. Brizy WP websites cannot be imported to Brizy Cloud using an automated process. However you can recreate Brizy WP websites in Brizy Cloud following a manual process.

  1. Save each page as a layout in the Brizy WP project 
     
  2. In your Brizy Cloud project add pages one by one and import the page layouts saved in step 1 to different pages
  3. Copy paste the global styles and typography from Brizy WP to the Brizy Cloud project
  4. Recreate menu in the Cloud, setup global blocks and display conditions
  5. Re-setup the email notifications for Brizy forms in the Cloud project
