home page update issue

When sharing the home page on social media, etc., the updates I make on the home page are not displaying... it's displaying an old version of the home page...I have cleared the cache, tried difference browsers and devices, it's the same...

I'm trying to get an image to display when shared... I've updated the social setting on Yoast, added a featured image to the home page, etc... but I can't tell if any of that worked, because when the home page is shared, it's displaying an old version that had no images setup and had the placeholder gibberish text "asdfasdfsafsadfsdafsfsfsdfsdfsfsfsf" (which still displays when shared even after it was deleted)...

  Could you please tell me which platform you're using to share your website? It seems like Facebook is working, so it might be a problem with another platform.

  interesting... that's how it looks for me too now... did you do anything on your end? that's strange how it worked all of a sudden...

  Hi Daniel,

  As per an X developer's community forum post, "Using the card validator tool 2.1k forces the system to recognize any updated images/titles/etc, and is applied to existing Tweets that include the card URL" I used the card validator tool at https://cards-dev.x.com/validator and this could have possibly helped.
