wordpress Posts with Comments is giving Critical Error

Hi there,

I am having an with my site secularbuddhistnetwork.org. Brizy version 2.5.8, Brizy Pro 2.5.4

Since the latest Brizy Pro update, any post with a comment on it shows a critical error. All other posts display fine. I have tried disabling all other plugins but Brizy Pro is causing the issue.

    Hi Phoebe,

    The WordPress comments appear having a compatibility issue with the Brizy's latest versions. I will report this issue and we will work on a fix. In the interim, kindly use Facebook comments in place of WordPress comments in your project. The Facebook comments appear working fine.     Thanks for your reply and for looking into this.

    That doesn't really work as a solution, this blog already has hundreds of Wordpress comments which are central to it's function. Do you have any idea when this bug will be fixed?

    Hi Phoebe

    We will work on a fix and the fix will be released along with an upcoming Brizy update; however its difficult to predict when we can release a fix.

    If you prefer to roll back to previous versions to fix this bug, kindly take a full backup of your website and follow the below procedure. Download these versions of Brizy to your computer.

    And follow these steps to roll back

    1. Deactivate and delete Brizy Pro
    2. Deactivate and delete Brizy
    3. Download Brizy 2.5.2 and in your WordPress Dashboard under Plugins - Add New - Upload Plugin, upload Brizy
    4. Download Brizy Pro 2.5.1 and under Plugins - Add New - Upload Plugin, upload Brizy Pro
    5. Make a minor change to the global header, (like increase the padding by 1 pixel), reverse the change and update your project.

    All blog posts with comments should display well after completing these steps.
