Bolding or Italicizing a Word in a Paragraph kicks you out of Global Styling after latests update.
After the latest update, I noticed that you cannot bold or italicize text in a paragraph without being kicked out of the Global styling, it changes it to CUSTOM now.

Hi Ian,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I assume that this is what you are trying to accomplish? Please see the screencast on this link: https://youtu.be/DXkNVZbrG9o
If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. However, when there is a style set for that text, when you try to bold it, it changes it to custom. So, say I want a H1 style on the page that says Top Quality Painting Company, and I want just the Painting bolded. It does not appear to be possible to do that anymore with the update and still keep the global style. I understand that you can go to the settings and change that to H1, but when you have a lot of pages and you have to do the style for each page, because it is custom and not a global style it is a hassle, imagine having to do this for H2s and so on and then for table and phone. It was possible before the update.

Hi Ian,
You are correct; bolding a single text within a paragraph changes the paragraph's typography from global to custom. Typographies are applied to entire paragraphs rather than individual words. At the present, there is no way to apply typography to a single word in a paragraph. As a result, changing the typography of a single word in a paragraph causes the entire paragraph's typography to change to custom.
How often do you think you'll have paragraphs like "Top Quality Painting Company" in your design with the majority of the words in one typography and one word in another?

This is not good. So even in full paragraphs, if you bold one word it changes the entire paragraph to custom and will be disconnected from the global styling. So, for website with many pages and lots of content people that want to bold certain words will have to manually update each paragraph on each page if they want to change the size or font of the paragraph (style) text in the future since it will be completely disconnected from the global styles. The functionality was there before and now it cannot be done after the update.

So basically, people now have to pick whether they want to bold something and disconnect the text from global styles and make it very hard to update in the future, or if they want to keep the global styling, they just can't bold anything, unless they are bolding the entire paragraph.
Here is an example - The way it is after the update all of the paragraphs below would automatically change to custom because it has some bolded words and will disconnect from the global styling. So, if you want to update size of text or font in the future - you will have to do it manually for desktop, tablet and mobile. Then imagine if you have 10 pages with text like this and you need to change the size of text or font because a client requests it, you won't be able to use global styling to easily do it, you will have to go to each paragraph and change it for desktop, tablet and mobile.

Its not just bolding text, changing any of these settings will disconnect the paragraph from global styling. It was not that way before the update.

Hi Ian,
I have escalated this issue and we are looking into it. Will get back to you as we make some progress.

Hi Ian,
We have had a discussed about this matter with other colleagues. This issue does not seem to be related to the latest update. A collection of typography parameters was always used to determine global typography; if a word within a paragraph changes, the paragraph will be assigned "Custom" typography. This was how it was from the beginning.
I am afraid we can't change the definition of global typography.

I think you and they also know that that is not true. I have built many websites in Brizy and I know for a fact that when you bolded or italicized a text in a paragraph in the past that it did not change the entire paragraph to custom and disconnect it from global styling. In fact I was able to do it just a few weeks ago before the update. It's probably just sounds like too much work for you to go back and fix. But I think that moves the builder backwards not forward. As many web designers will need to bold, italicize or underline text in many projects, so you are making them pick between that option or global styling for each paragraph.
All of my old projects have some text that is bold, italicized or underlined and it is still under paragraph or other styling in the global styling not CUSTOM, so I know for a fact it has not always been that way. Wait until other people notice this as well, it will be an issue. This issue alone may force me to go to a different builder, the projects that I work on most of the time require some bolded text in headings, paragraphs and so on. I hope the team will reconsider fixing this, because it was not like this before the latest update when you moved the styling options from the paragraph option menu to the global styling menu. You can see below a few of my project created before the update still have the global styling with bolded text.

Can you imagine the pain this will cause for people that maintain their client's websites if the client requests a change in font, font size or other styling and some paragraphs or titles have bolded text? I thought Brizy was pushing to be able to create websites as custom as you could imagine, this will hold a lot of things back in my opinion. Also, none of the other builders that I have tested do this, they don't kick you out of Global styling just because you want to bold a few texts in the paragraph. Elementor, Divi, Duda, I can't think of any other builder that acts that way. I really do hope this gets fixed, because I love the ease of Brizy but my ultimate goal is to be free to make a website how I want it, not be held back by restrictions like this.

Hi Ian,
We are looking into these two projects and will get back to you when we have an update from our developers

Any updates from your developers?
It's been 4 months and this is an urgent problem for me too.
This is untenable and cannot carry on.

Unfortunately, the disproportionate effort required to implement the fix has led us to decide against correcting this issue.

Thank you for the update.
This is a major blow to the Brizy Builder as a viable platform for client sites.

Hello Turnkey Webmaster,
I have passed on your feedback to our management and we will look into the above possibility.

Hi, I also noticed it. I want to use bold text or italics without impacting the whole paragraph, and as far as I remember, it wasn't an issue before.
Any updates on that?
Thank you0 -
Hello Wagner,
At the moment, we do not have a plan to change the current behavior of the Text element.
