Carousel dissapearance

The carousel on a block of my home page (containing text only) has disappeared, and the block has been elongated. 

This is what it is supposed to look like (view from page editor):

I believe this has happened to me before, some years ago, but I am not certain what the resolution was.

  Hi Michael,

  If you are using the WP Optimize optimization plugin, under WP Optimize - Minify, kindly disable the options "Process JavaScript files" and "Process CSS files" and check if the carousel issue resolves

  I have completed this and cleared the cache, checked on 3 different browsers and the no change. I actually removed Hummingbird Pro and Smush Pro earlier this morning and just loaded WP Optimize for I have had problems with the former in the past.

  I have purged WP Optimize cache and now the carousel displays on your homepage. Kindly reload the page in your browser to see the latest change.

  I must have done the same 5 times and it made no change. I am so sorry to bother you.
