Brizy is getting to be very confusing
Hello, I'm back. I don't have screen shots, but I do have serious issues. So here goes. While working on the website, I created a new page called Veteran Specifics and this page was called from a page called Veterans. It seems that the pages are always created initially in WordPress outside of Brizy. Is that correct? Then once, a page is published, you can enter Brizy and develop the page. Is that correct? I opened the Veteran Specifics page and created it according to plan. However, along the way, the data ended up being at the top of the Veteran page, which was very confusing. Seeing that I had the data however on the Veteran Specific page, I deleted the part on the Veteran page, thinkiing it would still be on the Veteran Specific Page. When I went to look at the Veteran Specific page, all of the data that I delectged on the Veteran page was deleted on the Veteran Specific page. I guess, at the end of the day, I need to be educated on how the Brizy System works because it is confusing with the WP Editor (which I don't use on purpose) as to who has trump. I thought it would be a simple process to restore the data, but that has not worked out either. I don't see a way to restore the Brizy data. Is that correct? Restoring seems to be from WordPress and my data is not there. You told me to try to restore data from Trash. Where is trash data stored? I purposely trashed my Veteran Specific Page, which no longer had the important data, and I am now scrubbing my system to see where that file went. It is not in my Recycle Bin. Is that where it goes when trashed? In this situation, I lost more than 1/2 day of work, which I can restore, but I hope you know that this is not a long term issue for me. Having such surprises will cause me to move on to another system. I like Brizy, but I need to know more about how this stuff is working, especially when it comes to restoring data. You said that I cannot restore Brizy data from a previous date. If I can't go back (without a backup copy) and restore to a previous date point, isn't that a problem for Brizy? I don't recall that ever being an issue with other page builders in the past. But, I'm old and it's been awhile. Thanks for you reply. resourcebeagle.org - Wil Haines

Hi Wil,
Thank you for the update.
It seems there might be some confusion about how pages are created and managed between WordPress and Brizy. While WordPress pages are initially created outside of Brizy, your theme might have its own built-in editor. This could explain why the data ended up at the top of the Veterans page. Alternatively, if you used a header and footer, they may have been positioned at the bottom of the page, which can be adjusted by using the Reorder Blocks tool in the sidebar.

Regarding data restoration, WordPress offers page revisions that allow you to restore previous edits: https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions.
If the files are still in the trash, you can try restoring them and then check the revisions to see if you can recover the lost data.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Best regards,
