HI Google console can't locate my websites site map, can you tell me how I locate it or create one if need be?

Hi Nick,

Your sitemap is located at /sitemap.xml. For example, https://www.thebookmarketer.pro/sitemap.xml. Have you submitted this URL to Google Search Console? If you see an error, kindly share a screenshot of the error message

Can you confirm if you have added the full URL for your sitemap like in the below screenshot? Kindly paste the URL https://www.thebookmarketer.pro/sitemap.xml and let us know if you continue to see the error message.

yes the whole URL was posted and it's still coming up as an error saying "Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead."
