Posts & Post Pagination Issues

Hi,

Since the recent update, two things.... (see https://paramountlegalcosts.co.uk/knowledge-hub/)

1. The excerpt/post intro that is showing on the posts page for the most recent post is not pulling through correctly. (see screenshot too)

2. When clicking on the numbered pagination at the bottom of the page it shows a 404 error.

Can you please help?

  Thank you for contacting us.

  If you are using a dynamic template or a blog archive, please try to delete the post or archive element and rebuild it. 

  Please try this and let me know how it goes.

  To confirm, you want us to rebuild this and see if it still doesn't work?

  Is this to do with the most recent update at all? If so, it is already taking a huge amount of time

  Hi Darren,

  We apologize for the inconvenience. I noticed that the 404 error no longer occurs when using the numbers in the pagination - https://youtu.be/W4k58lwnE4w

  To fix the excerpt, please try clearing any caching plugins and server-side cache to see if this resolves the problem. Additionally, you can manually add a custom excerpt to those posts by following the steps outlined in this link: https://wpshout.com/set-custom-post-excerpt-in-wordpress/
