Global header and footer blocks have disappeared and won't let me save changes on any page...

Hi,

My Brizy website has been working for several years now, but for some reason, a short time ago, the global header and footer to my website just disappeared. I didn't make any big changes to the website.

Also, when I try to make a small change and update the website, it gives me an error that says:

"Could not publish or save page"

and

"This page needs a refresh. You’ve probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser."

I don't have the page open in another browser.

Can you please help me get the header and footer menus working?

    We have fixed the issue with the global header for https://hanova.org/ Kindly check.

    We have also fixed the "Your page needs a refresh" error. Kindly check if you are able to edit Brizy pages and save.

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting things going again.

    The header and footer is showing again - I'm thankful for that. But there are still some issues that were not there 5 days ago when the global footer and header disappeared:

    1) I had a photo slider on the home page that no longer works in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome - only in Firefox. I had to just put a single photo banner for now until it can be fixed. I have the slider in saved content blocks.

    2) Also, the dropdown menu works great in Firefox - like it used to - but now it opens at the very top of the browser in Chrome and Edge (screenshot below).

    And more importantly, I haven't even been able to text it on Safari - which is the browser used by most of our school families and staff.

    What do you think could have changed all of that? All of these have been carefully designed and working for years now.

    3) Also, the mobile menu is unresponsive!! Which makes the mobile version unusable.

    Hi Jonathan,

    1. I have reinstated the slider at https://hanova.org/brizy-8/. Kindly check if you can see it on Edge, Chrome and Safari.

    2. The drop down menu in the header opens well in Chrome and Edge at my end. Kindly check it again at your end. 


    3. I could not fully understand what you mean here "And more importantly, I haven't even been able to text it on Safari" Can you elaborate?

    I have deactivated the WP Fastest Cache plugin to ensure that the changes reflect in the frontend. Enabling the plugin will disable some Brizy features like hamburger menu. It is possible that a certain settings in the WP Fastest Cache plugin causes an interference with Brizy. Some investigation is required to identify the settings that interfere with Brizy.
