Hi there,

 

When I have lead via my website the mail gets in my spam. What can I do to prevent this?

  Thanks for your quick reply. Could you help met with the following regarding the mail: To authorize the sender, we must add the DNS records of the software / party with which the contact forms are sent.

  Hi Stijn,

  To increase the deliverability of your email notifications, you must send your email notifications through a reliable SMTP server and verify the sender email address. You must also whitelist your domain name with your SMTP server by adding DKIM and DMARC records to your domain.

  Can you give us more details?

  1. Which method are you using to send out Email Notifications? WordPress, Gmail or SMTP?
  2. If you are using an SMTP server, which server are you using?
  3. What requirements do they have to authorize the sender and whitelisting the domain name?

  Hi George,

   

  We are using WordPress, mail gets deliverd via different IP adresses. What DNS records can we add so the mail comes in de right mailbox?

  When selecting the WordPress option to send out email notifications, your emails will be sent out through the WordPress' PHP Mail function. Since the PHP mail function sends emails from your web server, the server's IP reputation plays an important role in email deliverability. If your web server's IP has a poor reputation, your emails may land in recipients' spam folders or be blocked entirely.

  SMTP servers are designed specifically for sending emails, ensuring better deliverability compared to the PHP mail function. By using an SMTP server, you can avoid many common deliverability issues, such as IP reputation problems and email sending limits imposed by web hosts.

  Hi Stijn,

  Do you mean that your webserver IP address keep changing? Some servers are assigned a set number of IP addresses, which are shared by users who connect to that server. This could be one reason.
