Custom Code Blog Post "Last Updated On..."

I wanted to add the "last updated" function to my blog posts by pasting a some code on the functions.php. Instead of just displaying on for the blog posts, it is site wide (https://getit101.com/) and displaying on top of the the top menu... Is there a way to add a shortcode for this on a specific place on the Brizy's single post template? Or A free compatible theme with similar options?

I would not not like to add another plugin to an already slow site...And a simple Brizy Wordpress Theme would be best

  Hello

  Since the last updated date for your blog posts need to be captured, the best way to accomplish it would be using the WP Last Modified Info plugin. The plugin gives you the option to replace the 'Post Publishing Date' with the 'Last Updated Date'.

  

  You can use the Brizy Dynamic Text value 'Post Date' to display the Last Updated date. 

   

  You can also add the plugin shortcode [lmt-post-modified-info] into the blog post template using the Brizy Shortcode element
