Urgent Issue Regarding Website Speed
Hello,
I am writing to you with an urgent issue concerning our website https://igm.ac-8.com/. We are experiencing problems with its speed, as it sometimes loads very slowly. After some investigations, we have found the following issues.
A bottleneck was detected at the network level, specifically when the site takes around 8-10 seconds to load very slowly. From the investigation, it was found that during this loading time, requests are being made to some third-party services hosted on AWS Cloud, located in the northern part of the USA. This seems to be related to the Brizy plugin.
The technician who discovered this has been added as CC in this email, for more details from him or to provide solutions.
We would like to receive some resolutions/solutions or your assistance in resolving this issue, as the site needs to be transmitted to the live version by Friday, and this problem is preventing us from doing so.
Thank you, Sincerely,
CreateGO Support

Hi Nicolai,
I have done a performance test of your website at GTMetrix. Kindly see the report at https://gtmetrix.com/reports/igm.ac-8.com/6Pro5aUG/ I have these observations based on the report.
- I do not see an HTTP request going to an AWS server in the 'Waterfall' tab of the report. Kindly provide more information about the request going to a third-party services hosted on AWS Cloud.
- Time to the first byte is 1.3 seconds which is more than what is considered normal. Higher TTFB is usually a function of the quality of hosting service. Looks like you are currently hosting with a provider in Chisinau. If the live version of your website would be hosted on a faster hosting provider, the performance of your website is likely to improve.
- If you are not using a caching cum optimization plugin, kindly consider using one. You could try WP-Optimize if you do not have a preference. Kindly enable the CSS and JS minify options in your caching plugin
- Your website makes 25 font requests and you seems to be using close to 10 different fonts. This is unusually high. Most websites use 2-3 fonts. Using Global Typography can help standardise font usage. Kindly delete the fonts which are not necessary for your website from the Brizy Font Manager. Ideally bring down the number of fonts to 2-3.
- Use https://tinypng.com/ to compress two of your images and reupload

Once you implement these suggestions, kindly recheck the speed of your website.
