    Hi Carlos,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

When transferring your domain name to a new site, you will only need to update the CNAME record; the A DNS record should remain unchanged. For additional guidance, I have included this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/zyxyrlEyD3g

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Carlos,

Before moving your domain name to the newly created site, please ensure that the new site is completed. You can use a subdomain while developing your new site and switch to a custom domain when you are ready to publish it.

Following up on your last question, you don't need to delete the old site until you have completed your new website. When you are ready to transition to your newly built site, you can revisit your old site and delete the custom domain name.

Deleting a custom domain does not disrupt your old site; it simply removes the domain name from the project. If you no longer require the website from the old project, you can delete the project, as demonstrated in this example:

This action will remove the entire project along with the website that was created within it.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.
