Changing the website Theme and Layouts
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well. I have a website built on WordPress with Blocksy and Brizy (I have Pro on both), and the Theme that I am currently using is “Business” on Blocksy.
I want to change the whole website theme without losing any functions, content, or integrations, plugins, forms, SEO or online presence. So if I decided to use a new Theme from Brizy, what is best to do? what is the best way to make the changes efficiently and effectively without impacting what I have now or creating a mess in the backend of WordPress?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Many Thanks,
Omran

Hi Omran,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I understand that you would like to change your website theme while preserving all the functions, content, integrations, plugins, forms, SEO, and online presence.
To achieve this, you have two options.
1. Install the Brizy Starter site on a new WordPress instance.
2. Save each page in the Brizy Starter site as a design layout by following the steps outlined in this video - https://youtu.be/jhtI4yAEW8s
3. Import each saved layout individually to the existing pages on your current website
4. Copy the content from your current site and paste it into the newly imported layout.
Alternatively, you can rebuild your site in a separate staging environment. This will involve creating a copy of your current website where you can make changes without affecting the live site. In the staging site, you can install a new theme or site layout, modify content using Brizy, and customize pages according to your preferences. This allows you to thoroughly test the functionality, review SEO settings, and preview changes before going live.
Once you are satisfied with the newly built site in the staging environment, you can proceed to migrate the updated version to your live website.
I hope this explanation proves helpful to you.
Best regards,
