Anchor Links

Hi, how can I add/create anchor links? I watched the video where it shows how to name blocks, however I want one link (a button link) to redirect to a specific block on ANOTHER page (of my site). How do I do that?

(Also, I would highly appreciate a written explanation+screenshots instead of videos; I'm disappointed I'm unable to find more support documents in NON-video formats for Brizy; video is very tiring for me. Thank you.)

  Hi Jenna,

  Unfortunately we do not have the procedure for creating an anchor link to a section on another page in document format. Kindly have a look at this tutorial How to Create Jump Links in WordPress for the procedure.

  Hi KC George, yikes, that's a pretty basic website function! That's a little wonky that Brizy doesn't allow for that. Would be great if you guys could add that!

  RE the help video: is there a written explanation of this somewhere? I'm afraid I can't watch videos as much as they are extremely straining and tiring for me. TY!

  Hi Jenna,

  To create a jump link from your home page to a specific section on another page, such as linking the "Content Strategy" card on your home page to a more detailed explanation of the service on your Services page under the Strategic Content section, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the page where the target section is located.

  2. Edit the page using Brizy and navigate to the desired section you want to link. Click on the Properties icon.

  

  3. Click on the Gear icon.

  4. Go to the Styling options.

  

  5. In the flyout menu, click on Advanced.

  

  6. Under the Block Name, assign a name to this block, for example, "content_strategy".

  

  7. Once done, close the flyout menu and click on Update at the bottom right to save your changes.

  8. Go back to your home page and open it for editing with Brizy.

  9. Locate the Content Strategy card and choose whether you want to link the entire card or a specific text within the card block. For this example, we will link the entire card. Click on the Cross icon and then click on the Link icon.

  

  10. In the "Link to" field, enter the full URL of your website and append the Block ID we created on the Services page. For example, use "https:///www.mywebsite.com/services/#content_strategy".

  

  After doing so, hit the Update button to save your changes.
