Events Manager

Hi we're using Events Manager By Pixelite for events (we tried Time.ly but they stopped our clients free account).

I can use shortcode to show the calendar https://www.amblesidepc.org.uk/whats-on/ but need to use Brizy template for single events.

Struggling to show anything other than title and descrioption on the single event.

Thoughts?

  Hi Darren,

  Brizy does not have an integration worked out with the Event Manager plugin. It could be challenging to create Brizy templates for the events.

  Would it be an option to retain the event pages as it is in the theme design and redesign your theme header and footer and make it look as close as possible to the Brizy header and footer? If the theme header and footer cannot be redesigned exactly like the Brizy header, you have the option to modify the Brizy header to match it with the theme header

  Thanks for this.

  To be honest the plugin seems buggy so we might look at something else. Are there any event plugins you could suggest?

  Hi Darren,

  We do not have a recommendation since most event calendar plugins do not integrate smoothly with Brizy. When implementing a plugin which is difficult to integrate with Brizy, we usually recommend the approach where the entire website is developed using the Default Page Template.

    

  When you set a Brizy Page to the Default Page Template, it reloads with the page with the theme header and footer. In this approach, the website header and footer are designed using your theme. Kindly have a look at https://evaboot.com/ for a website developed using the Default Page Template. The header and footer in this example is designed using Blocksy.

  We'll have a look at other options, unfortunatly I'ts not possible for this job to rdesign the header and footer.
