Tracking button/ links clicks
Hello,
On our websites we have several contacts links which our clients click - mailto, tel, and Messenger/Viber links - https://pochivki-turcia.bg/contacts/#contactus
We have been using Google Tag Manager and tracking the clicks effectively with the "Link texts" option, but we switched to Piwik Pro as Analytics and Tag Manager, and the only options available for tracking there are custom css, like id, class - https://help.piwik.pro/guides/analytics-for-advanced/how-to-track-button-clicks/
Unfortunately this doesnt work with Brizy! We put a custom css id or class but it is not recognized as it gets applied to the container, but not to the exact clickable link. Thus Piwik doesnt recognize it.
I would appreciate help!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
There are two ways to accomplish this:
1. Use a button element for this purpose. You can set the button's background color to white or match it with the color of your layout background. Additionally, assign a Class ID, for example, "email-click":
2. You can also use the embed element and use HTML to display the email address and assign a class ID of "email-click"
If configured properly, Piwik should receive the trigger event. For more information, please refer to this link:
