    Hi Phoebe,

Email notifications can be easily suspected as SPAM, so these messages may not reach the recipient. Please follow these best practices to avoid having your mail rejected by mail servers.

    1. Subject: Please don't omit the subject line. Give a meaningful subject. You can include a subject, such as "Contact Form."
    2. From Email: Make sure the 'From" Email' you use has the same domain as your website. The 'From Email' field on a form hosted at CNN.com can be form@cnn.com or info@cnn.com
    3. From Name: This field must not be left empty. Give a meaningful 'From Name'

Kindly look for email notifications in the SPAM folder as well. If none of the above helps, kindly give us access to your WordPress Dashboard. We will take a look. Please add a new user to your WordPress Dashboard and send the following details to our email: communitysupport@brizy.io

Please let us know in this forum when you send us the email.

Thanks KC George, I tried those steps but it's still not working.

I have created a new User and sent login details to communitysupport@brizy.io

    Hi Phoebe,

I could not make the WordPress option of sending email notifications work either. There are several errors you can see in the browser console. These errors could be preventing the email from reaching the recipient.

I set up another page and tried the Gmail option of sending Email Notifications. You can see my test page at https://cancerconnect.ie/test/. When filling up the form on this page, I received a notification in my Inbox. Kindly check if you received the same notification in your emails.

If you received notifications in your email addresses, kindly follow these steps.

    1. Duplicate the Contact Form using the Duplicate icon (see the attached image)
    2. In the Duplicated form, kindly setup the email notification using the Gmail option. You could follow the procedure in this article Email notification via Gmail You will need a Gmail address to do this.
    3. Delete the original form

Thanks KC, I did receive the replies from your test page form yes but the client I am building the website for uses Outlook, not Gmail.

What's the best option for them?

I rarely use the Brizy form builder anymore as it never seems to work in a straightforward way.

    Hi Phoebe,

Kindly add the client Outlook email address in the 'Email To' field.

You can use any Gmail address to send out the email notification through Gmail server. The Gmail address can be either associated with you or with the client or it can even be a new Gmail address you add for this purpose.  The Google App Password must be generated from the Gmail address used here.

In case you are facing any more problems with email notifications, kindly get back to us. We are here to help you.
