My website is slow
Hello, I used Brizy Pro to create a website.
Everything works but the site is very slow. Each page loads for 5 seconds before appearing.
So I used the WP rocket plugin, reduced the size of the images.
But unfortunately nothing changes.
Here is the website: ****
Thank you for your help

Hi Eric,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Upon checking, it appears that the images you are using on your website are not fully optimized. To improve the performance of your website, I recommend using Google Page Speed Insights, which will provide you with specific areas that need improvement: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-cherirlamemoire-fr/oxrwyhl4n7?form_factor=mobile
I suggest compressing your images and considering the use of webp or avif image formats instead of PNG or JPEG. This can help optimize the loading speed of your website.
For more information, please refer to the following links:
https://wp-rocket.me/google-core-web-vitals-wordpress/serve-images-next-gen-formats/Please try this and let me know how it goes.
Best regards,

I reduced the weight of the images. Loading time is better but loading is still quite long.

Hi Eric,
Thank you for the update.
Upon checking, the Dev tools show that your site fully loaded on desktop in 10 seconds.
In the mobile view, it took 4.9 seconds - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/MZNfdL6BmR0
Could you please try clearing your browser cache or accessing your site from another computer to see if you get the same results?
Please give this a try and let me know how it goes.
Best regards,

Thank you for your response
Unfortunately the website still takes a long time to load.0 -
Hi Eric,
Thank you for the update.
I noticed that you have already installed WP Optimize on your website. Could you please try compressing the images by following the steps shown in this screencast? - https://youtu.be/9UM-2-bJM7c
Start by compressing the hero background image. You can choose either "Prioritize maximum compression" or "Prioritize retention of detail" in the compression options.
Once you have done that, please go back to your browser, clear the cache, and try loading the page again to see if there is any noticeable difference.
Best regards,

Thanks for your quick return
In wp optimize, I activated "Prioritize maximum compression", reduced the weight of the image but the loading time remains very long.
All pages take a long time to load, even the contact page which has no image.

Hi Eric,
The performance of your homepage looks reasonably good in GT Metrix. Kindly have a look at this report https://gtmetrix.com/reports/cherirlamemoire.fr/RRF1QeoI/
I also checked the visual loading speed of your website. Kindly see my test at https://jmp.sh/1W27m98o The page loads within a second. What are the load times at your end?

Thanks you for feedback.
For my part, other pages on the website take a long time to load.
For example, by clicking on the “contact” page, the page takes more than 5 seconds to display. This page does not include many elements

Hi Eric,
Your Contact page is doing well in GT Metrix. Here is the report https://gtmetrix.com/reports/cherirlamemoire.fr/9hyNnd4D/
The visual loading speed of other pages also look good at my end. Kindly see my test at https://jmp.sh/ZaCZ7fp0
Have you checked the loading speed using alternate Internet Service Providers and using multiple devices?

Unfortunately this is not happening on my different computers
Here is a video clip of my screen. When I click on "see products" the page takes 5 seconds before displaying the product (flower) :

Hi Eric,
Kindly check the performance of a few popular websites on Pagespeed Insights for a comparative evaluation. For example, https://www.google.com/ which has a single search field in the middle of the page and no other content.
https://www.bbc.com/ with a lot of content.
You can see more realistically whether or not your website performance is reasonable in relation to the content that you have on it.0 -
Thanks for your feedback.
On computer the loading level is correct But when we use a mobile, the loading time of pages can take more than 5 seconds. I would like to improve this score which is much too long.0 -
I would like to take this opportunity to ask you another question.
I created a block with images and yellow buttons just below. (attached the screen).
Unfortunately, depending on the size of the screens, the width of the buttons is no longer the same as that of the images. However, I adjusted the width on each computer, tablet, mobile mode....
Is there a way to fix the button to the image so that it remains at the same width of the image and those regardless of the screen ?0 -
Hi Eric,
I have looked at the visual loading speed of your website on a mobile device using mobile data connection. Kindly see my test at https://jmp.sh/yOjuIT0S Your website loads withing a second or two.
Using a button below the image may not be ideal for your design requirement. Instead, consider using a column to achieve your design. Kindly see my test page at https://brizy.tech/test/
You can create this design following these steps.
- Add a column below the image
- Remove one of the two columns
- Add a background color to the column
- Drag the Text element to the column and type the respective texts
- Remove unnecessary paddings and margins
