When clicking play on a video, the player changes and removes a gap between the video and controls

 

This messes up the design of the page

  Hi Isaac,

  The way you have described is how the Video player works when using a custom video. To provide a consistent design before and when the video plays, please consider removing the video controls. Video controls are not essential since your video already has a play button.
