W3C CSS & HTML errors and warnings
Hi,
I am auditing my site and have had some CSS and HTML warnings and errors, however, the use of HTML and CSS has genuinely been minimal. Please help and advise me as to what, if anything, can be done.
Kind regards,

Hi,
Can you give us more details?
- URL of your website
- SEO Tool you are using
- Copy paste the HTML and CSS errors you see in the SEO audit
- Describe the steps we must follow to reproduce the errors at our end

I'm not sure how to copy/paste or reproduce errors. I'm not very technical at all.
Can you help with the info I've given?

Hi
Thank you for keeping in touch.
If you encounter errors, you can capture them using your smartphone and send them to us.
While we're not very familiar with this tool, I used the W3C Markup Validation Service at https://validator.w3.org/ to check for issues.
If you're seeing similar warnings, there's no cause for concern. These warnings typically pertain to valid HTML tags. Specifically, they may appear on <meta> tags, which are commonly self-closed in XHTML (e.g. <meta charset="utf-8" />) but unnecessary in HTML5 (e.g. <meta charset="utf-8">), thus triggering the validation warning from the W3C Markup Validation Service.
