Brizy Waas installation
Hello,
I installed the latest Brizy Free and Pro on a Multisite Network with WP Ultimo 2.
But activating it with my Brizy Waas license key did not work.
I get the error: "Brizy Pro does not support multisite license anymore."
So please send me a Brizy Multisite Plugin that works with the Brizy Waas license key.
Many thanks in advance!

Hi Roland,
We have recently revised WordPress Multisite support for Brizy. Please have a look at this article for the changes. How are the PRO licenses & white label options working in a WordPress multisite network
In the past you needed to add only a single Brizy Pro license in the Network Admin and the license propagated to all your member sites. Now you need to add a Pro license for each member site and activate it one at a time.
If you can't see the license tab, we've built in an option in the white label setup at the network level that lets you turn the license tab on or off for all the sites in the network.

Hello George, Thanks for your answer. If that's just how it works now and no longer network-wide, I'll have to cancel Brizy Waas. The sale should work fully automatically, without manually entering a code on each page. Unfortunately, this is no longer practicable in a Waas network.0 -
Hi Roland,
If you ignore the message in your Network Admin, your member sites should continue to have access to Brizy at the moment. The Dashboard notification is about the proposed change on a future date. We have not yet implemented the change.
Our plans are still being worked out. We will keep you informed as it evolves.

Hi George, do you mean the following Dashboard message? "Welcome to Brizy Pro! Please activate your license to get feature updates,
premium support and unlimited access to the template library." So do you mean not to activate Brizy Waas by license at all,
and it will continue to work in the multisite network on all subpages? But how am I supposed to build something new with this statement
if it is uncertain whether it will still work in the future. Unfortunately, this is not a satisfactory statement.0 -
Hi Roland,
I am referring to a Brizy Pro License update notification in the Network Admin
0 -
Hi George,
the notification you wrote was before I tried to activate the Waas license.
Now is the other notification I wrote you above in dashboard.
But no matter what message appears, the fact remains that I cannot count on Brizy Wass to work in this form in the long term.

Hi Roland,
I agree with you. At the moment, we do not have a favorable long term plan for WaaS users. In case we end up making a choice, we will let you know and if your circumstance permits, you can look at it at that time.

Hi George, this is very disappointing to read something like this about a plan that
has been in place for 3 years.
I can't even imagine what would have happened if I had already used it,
and then it is simply changed.
You can't build a reliable partnership that way. I have invested a total of around €2000 in Brizy over the 3 years
and have never used it before. That's probably money thrown out the window. Apparently I invested in the wrong place with Brizy. In Brizy Cloud Reseller, I still haven't seen the long-promised starter templates
I've been waiting for all this time. For all these reasons, I have decided to cancel Brizy Cloud Reseller now.
Please initiate the cancellation and give me a confirmation. Thanks! Brizy Waas runs until September, so there is still time to cancel.
I'll wait and see if a satisfactory solution is offered. If it works now, I might use it the way you wrote it and won't import any more updates.
I have yet to try this to see if it works.
I think with all the costs I had, it should at least be possible
to run it this way without further payments.0 -
Hey Roland,
Let me give you some context about this multi site network license change and a potential solution (that we are thinking on). I think it didn't worked correctly before and it didn't align with our WP reseller initiative that we are trying to build.
The reason why we think it didn't work correctly before (that is to put only 1 license that propagates into the network for the entire network of unlimited WP sites) is because anyone can create unlimited multi site networks with only one PRO license. Which is not correct.
So now we are changing that so that all the sites in the network require a PRO license.
This you can do in 2 ways:
1. Manually
By creating a license in your Brizy account and input it on every site in the network. The intended use here is by agencies and freelancers to have all the clients on a multi site network for convenience of updates and websites management.
2. Automatically
By using our WP APIs that have the capabilities to generate licenses, and automate processed when you build SaaS businesses around Brizy WP. Here are the docs: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/sections/4417189461905-API-Guides. Of course this require some coding and implementation on your part but this the correct license you need to build your WaaS or SaaS around Brizy WP.
Roland, I totally understand that you frustrated about this change and to make it right we'll wave any Reseller WP plan fees, and give you free access to APIs and a spacial deal for the licenses you create via the APIs for you to integrate what you want on your side. The WaaS license we had, with unlimited websites under only 1 PRO license, was not a correct B2B model and we needed to change that I hope you find it in your heart to understand.
On the solution side, what we are thinking for WaaS, is reach out to WP Ultimo team (https://wpultimo.com/) and (maybe) strike a partnership to create an addon that will work with the WP Ultimo plugin. This way giving an easy solution to build a WaaS without effort through WP Ultimo and Brizy.
I personally think you've invested in the right product, and I hope we'll change your mind. We are willing to do what it takes to make this work since you are a long time support of ours and have invested in Brizy WP and also Brizy Cloud. Let's continue discussing to see if we can make this happen.
---
About Brizy Cloud, if you are referring to the auto install of Starter Templates, we are actively working on this as we speak, and plan to launch it in a couple of weeks. We needed duplication of projects first which was introduced at the beginning of 2023 and we've been working to duplicate projects over different accounts (which is what cloning actually is) and I'll be testing it soon, the back end and front end will be finished next week I think.
And just to give you a bit more :), we have this turn key solution website we are giving to our reseller partners you can check it here: https://sitebuild.brizy.site/, that has this Templates page we are working on right now, see it here: https://sitebuild.brizy.site/templates. There you'll see an iframe with all our themes that will let all your users to start from any of template (the links don't work yet and the URLs are not white label yet) we are working on it as we speak.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
I'd urge you to hang in a bit longer, everything will come into place soon enough. I'd hate to see you go right when everything is coming into place.
Best,
Dimi

Hello ???,
I do not know who wrote this. Thank you for the detailed answer.
In the head I can already understand it, it is about generating more money, that is obvious.
The heart says no, you don't do something like that. You stand by your word and existing agreements.
That's what you do with new customers, but you don't change something afterwards that existing customers have trusted.
At least, that's the way I see it, and that's the way I live my life.Honestly at the moment I tend to just use another page builder.
Either completely free Gutenberg, Elementor, or Divi where you can create Lifetime Unlimited websites.
These solutions cost nothing, or just a small one time amount.Unlike Brizy WP, where I have PRO licenses for Unlimited Websites and also the WaaS license to pay annually.
But what is now also apparently still too little.About the options described:
The manual is out of the question for me, because it should work fully automatically.
The variant with the WP Ultimo plugin addon would be the right solution for me, but I can not wait for that, it will probably take a long time until that will eventually be available.
The variant WP API, I do not know what special deal you want to offer there, but it would have to be very good from the cost, so that comes into question.
Since I actually do not have the time to implement something myself, unless there are possibly ready PHP files that I could use in WP.
But you can write it to me more concretely, how the deal would look concretely.---
Regarding Brizy Cloud Reseller:
Regarding 1 Click Install for Starter Templates in Brizy Cloud Reseller, similar to you now, Dimi wrote me back in November 2022:
"This is in the works as well as we speak. We are pushing for this year for this auto install feature."
Now half a year later it is not ready yet, so you promise something new again.
I'm sorry, but then you shouldn't be surprised if people don't believe it anymore. In any case, I won't spend any more money on it until it's all finished and working.
That is for sure for me. I have already invested far too much money unnecessarily so far, although it was not used at all. There are also other points that I don't like about Brizy Cloud:
Although I haven't tested much with it yet, I've sometimes had problems that the preview of public sites didn't work and I couldn't fix it.
Or that the public pages just switched back to draft state by themselves.
Also the speed when working with the builder was often slow.As for the payment methods, that is also poorly communicated.
There was in December 2022 once an email that I now need a paddle seller account, later I heard in a video by chance that I now need Stripe.
No idea how that is now exactly. I am neither a friend of Stripe or Paddle.
Actually, for me, payments should be better possible in euros instead of dollars as configured now.
Also the $25 price I have fixed is probably hard to sell when Brizy offer the same thing around $10.I don't even know about running it in other languages, actually I would prefer to release it in German.
As for the White label Documentation, I've been waiting for it for a very long time too, and Dimi had promised me something in November 2022:
"The videos we are working on them as we speak and will be ready this year, can't promise about the builder integration. If not this year, early next year for sure."
Then nothing was ever communicated, I just happened to see "Download White Label Video Docs" recently in my account.
But it seems that I have to host the videos yourself somewhere, or I don't know how that is intended. The turn key solution website for reseller partner is a good idea, I like it.
But you should make sure that the content on the pages is not repeated, and on the template page hopefully all templates will be visible.
If there are "Knowledge Base & Documentation" links, then the corresponding White label doc must also be deposited.
According to Dimi, yes this has been scrapped:
"We are working on this, initially we wanted to do it in written form, but scrapped that idea and we are working on a help feature inside the builder that will be in video form."I guess it will take months or years until all this will be ready and working.
So from my point of view Brizy Cloud Reseller still has a lot of work to do before it can be sold well.
That is why I will not make the payment that is due now.So you can please either cancel my Brizy Cloud Reseller completely, or if it is possible stop my supscription for an indefinite period of time, to be able to activate it again maybe at a later date.
Please let me know which of the two options you prefer.
I don't care which one, but I will not make the payment for Brizy Cloud Reseller on July 6, 2023.Best,
Roland0 -
Hey Roland,
Dimi here, for some reason my user name was changed to Brizy Builder, I rarely reply here in the forum, this is more our support colleagues territory and I didn't noticed that my name was Brizy Builder. Sorry about that.
I understand your position, and sorry this change impacted you in a negative way. Unfortunately, related to how multi site works is either one way or another, we can't do it both ways in this case.
You said you can create unlimited lifetime websites with other tools. You can do that with ours as well. The unlimited part we don't take away, you can login into your WaaS account and generate unlimited licenses, but the way these licenses are activated we've changed. I understand this doesn't work with your setup, and that you need something automatic. In this case the APIs are the way to go, and I'd offer access to that for free if you want, but that will mean you need to integrate them on your side, which I understand you don't have time.
Let me know if you change your mind regarding this and I'll send a private email with more details on how the reseller plan works in WP, access to APIs, etc.
---
Related to Cloud and 1 click install, we've been working on it for some time I agree and I'm guilty of being more excited and passionate about what we are doing and put some dates or time frames out there that proved to be wrong (more than once). The truth is, these kind of complex features and systems take a lot of time to do, and what we can do is to push on them and bring them in as fast as possible.
I promise there were no ill intent there. I'd launch everything tomorrow and 100% done, issues free if it was possible, but the reality is different, unfortunately.
---
I've paused your Cloud reseller plan for now - https://jmp.sh/gYTVOD9A, a new billing will not be made. I hope you'll decide to come back once we have the auto-install.
The plan for the turn key website will be like you said, with all the templates (and cloning links for the auto install), and a support page with link to the WL videos. We'll have all the videos implemented in the dashboard and builder as well, this is in the works right now. Localisation is in the works as well for the dashboard and builder (13 languages and German is among them). I'll refrain to advance any more time frames just so I don't get into more trouble.
I wish you all the best,
Let me know how can I help you to continue to use Brizy for your projects and business.
Best,
Dimi.

Hello Dimi,
Thank you for your reply and for stopping the subscription of Brizy Cloud Reseller.
I already know that it was not a bad intention and you are working to finish it, but the reality is often different.
I know this very well from my life and I understand you.
I hope you also understand me that I can not pay for years without using it.We will see how it develops maybe I will come back later,
if auto-install, turn key website with, docs and videos, German language and Euro payment is ready.Regarding Brizy Waas I don't know yet how it actually is and if I can use it after all.
It sounded to me like you cancel Brizy Waas completely.
But now you wrote that I can create unlimited licenses in the account. What speaks then actually against it to use it further in such a way as it was so far, without registering the licenses?
George has written that it now apparently still works.Regarding API's...
I can't estimate the implementation effort, but you can send me detailed information by email, so perhaps I can estimate it better.
Did I understand correctly that the costs with the API's would remain the same as before, so still with the unlimited Waas license?
So without additional costs? Thanks and all the Best,
Roland0 -
Roland,
I'm with you 100%, if you are not using it, there is no point in paying. I've already paused it and if you decide to start it again, we'll unpause it at a click of a button.
Just to go through the list again:
- Auto install - I had a call last night with 2 of my colleagues, we plan to test the 1st version next week.
- Turn key website - once we have the auto install we can stat implementing that in the website together with the support page that will have all the WL videos.
- Cloud localisation - this will take a bit more time, but it is in the works, I hope we have it by end of summer. We know it's important especially for white label partners, you are not the 1st one to ask about it.
- Euro payments - I know you are not a Stripe fan, but this is what we have integrated and it is pretty cool. Euro payments are possible within Stripe right now and you can set any currency you want, including Euro of course. So this is possible right now.
On the list above only the Localisation is a bit of an unknown but I hope we'll have it soon. And just to give you a sneak peek that as a reseller partner I think you'll appreciate, we recently integrated Brizy with a big enterprise partner and extended the UI to accept new color styles - https://jmp.sh/9jbimaC6 this will come to our resellers and WL partners as well and will help you personalise the UI in the builder with your brand colors.----
Regarding the Waas, no way, we didn't change the plan it self at all. You will still have it in your account and it will continue to be unlimited, so if you login into your Brizy account, you can create unlimited WP licenses by pressing the Create New License button. What we changed was only how the multi site network works and activates licenses.
It still works like that, and George told you correctly because we want to give all our WaaS customers some time 1-2 months to make the change from 1 license that propagates to all websites to individual licenses or each website. Hope this make sense.
There will be no costs on the reseller fee, we can wave that but the license per website we charge for. Let me send you an email with all the details and the best deal I can offer, and you'll decide from there.
Cheers.

Hey Dimi,
sorry for the late reply, I did not forget about it.
I first wanted to think about everything in peace, set up the WP environment, and test whether it works in practice. This was also good, because during the tests it turned out that Brizy does not work in my Wordpress system.
I use WP Ultimo in combination with WP Frontend Admin, and apparently Brizy does not run in it.
So the issue has practically solved itself. Therefore, I ask you that you also pause Brizy Waas in my account, as you did with my cloud reseller plan.
So that no more money debits are made when the current period has expired. Thanks a lot!Maybe I'll activate it again later, for another project.
Or maybe there will actually be a WP Ultimo add on for Brizy someday. So much for the less good news for you, now for the happier news.
I have decided to reactivate Brizy Reseller Cloud as soon as the developments we wrote about are finished.
Provided of course that the terms and features remain the same as I originally purchased it.
But I assume that, because you have only paused it and just need to reactivate it.In the meantime some weeks have passed, maybe you can let me know how far you are with the developments.
Again briefly to the memory the points around which it goes:1) Auto install - Fully auto install of all your templates. In your last Video about cloning I think you said that this is not ready yet.
2) Turn key website with white lable docs - I want to use this beautiful website together with the support page that will have all the WL videos.
And also the extended UI to accept new color styles, is also a great feature which I want do use.
3) German language - Cloud localisation - You wrote this will take a bit more time, and you hope to have it by end of summer.
4) Payments - I wrote you last time I want to use EURO. I am not sure now, maybe DOLLAR is better choice for international selling.
Anyway, I don't want to use Stripe, I don't have a good feeling about it.
That's why I would choose the variant with Paddle you sent in the email "IMPORTANT: Brizy Reseller Changes!" on 12/16/2022.
I like the benefits you wrote there:
100% white label checkout process, control pricing of the Brizy plan on your side, get full reports, get notifications on sales, create discount codes and promo deals, full control on refunds
I hope it is still possible to use Paddle as payment method? If this is possible, it would be great if we could start setting everything up in advance, while you are still developing the cloud localization.
Then I could already customize the turn key website, and register Paddle.
The website also needs to be online already to do the "Paddle seller account verification process".The original project name and domains are not free anymore, so you will get new data from me, which you have to change please.
When you are done with the developments, which might be in September, I would make the payment for the next year for Brizy Reseller Cloud.
That would be my plan. Please give me feedback if this is so possible?
Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards

Hi Roland,
I have requested Natalia to reply to you by email. Please check your inbox for her reply.

Hi George,
thanks for your answer.I got Natalia's email and already answered her.

Hello
Thanks to your entire team for the Brizy Pro page builder!
In this correspondence, Dimi wrote that he wants to create an add-on together with wpultimo that will automatically add a license and brizy pro to each client’s website.
Question:
Is the add-on developed by the wpultimo team or the brizy team? When will you block the use of 1 brizy pro license for all subsites?
0 -
Hi Timur,
Dimi was talking about building compatibility between the plugins so that WP Ultimo can manage Brizy licenses. A WP Ultimo support representative would be contacted by a Brizy developer to obtain the details required to make Brizy compatible with their plugin. The add-on component would be created by Brizy based on the information provided. To make WP Ultimo compatible with Brizy, they might also need to make a few minor changes.
I am not aware of the date of switching from the old regime to the new. Will get back to you about this in a day.
