Non-profit Chariti Theme (GoodLayers) and Eventin Pro, just getting started, and Now want to be working with Brizy
Greetings, Our non-profit has purchased a theme, called Chariti, using GoogLayers page builder, and we added a plugin, called Eventin Pro, yet I see Brizy, and I am more interested in building this site with Brizy.
The Chariti Theme, from ThemeForest, uses Goodlayers Core, and Revolution slider, and again, we are just starting to build it. There is also the EventIn Pro Event Tickets creator, to Simplify Creating, Managing and Selling Events, with WooCommerce.
Can we use Brizy to do many of the same functions, and will Brizy work with this theme? Or should I put this request in the Brizy Add On Features request forum?
The website is currently in Coming Soon mode, while we make these decisions and move forward. https://www.oneglobalfamilyalliances.org/
Thank You... Michael B>

Hi Michael,
It might be helpful to stay with the Chariti theme and the Goodlayers page builder if you've liked one of the demo designs and want to use it as starting point for your new project. You will need to start over with a blank design if you choose to use Brizy for this project. Brizy may be helpful if you want to make significant design changes from the Chariti theme demo designs.
We have not tested Brizy with EventIn Pro yet and hence unsure if Brizy and EventIn Pro are compatible with each other. In case these two are incompatible, you have the option to retain the EventIn Pro pages as it is and not redesign those pages in Brizy. If you follow this approach, you have the option to develop your regular (non event) pages using the Default Page Template. When you select the Default Page Template in Brizy, your pages will use the theme header and the theme footer. You can find this option in the Brizy left sidebar towards the bottom. For instance, https://brizy.tech/ uses the Default Page Template and the header and the footer are designed using Blocksy theme whereas the rest of the page is designed using Brizy.

Thank you, as this does assist. One more question. On another site, I took out my old ThemeFuse The Core site, and put in a demo site using Brizy Pro Starter Templates. I believe I have to start with another theme, like Blocksy, or Suki WP and THEN I can edit the Global Menu system, like change HOME to Demo Site, etc? Correct?

Hi Michael,
It is advisable to switch to a theme such as Blocksy, as it is being updated regularly whereas The Core theme is not being maintained for a while.
However, you should be able to edit your global header irrespective of the theme you are using as long as your pages are set to Brizy Page Template

What if we are not using GoodLayers, ie: see attachment, and this site states how to use Gutenburg OR Brizy with the Charity Theme. Do you know if this is true, if I load the theme as they do here, out of Blocksy:

Hi Michael,
Yes; the Charity Starter Site from Blocksy is available for Brizy as you can see at https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/starter-sites/

When importing the starter site using the "Blocksy Companion" plugin, kindly select the Brizy option in the "Choose Page Builder" screen.

The Charity starter site uses the 'Default Page Template' and hence the page header and footer are designed using Blocksy. Once you finish importing the starter site, you can edit the pages using Brizy except the header and footer. Header and footer of the starter site can be edited using Blocksy.
