a link to my website using an ID is displaying as a blog post it should be full page like the home page
The link for my home page is set at http://www.teamxcelerate.com I am using a ID plug in and when I change the url in a browser to http://www.teamxcelerate.com/?id=mbeal which replicates the buttons on the page with that ID: mbeal using another plugin, Brizy is displaying that page as a blog post not a full URL page like the home page, how can this be fixed please.

Hi Michael,
Your ID plugin appears interfering with the appearance of your page by adding padding around it. Any of the following options is possible.
- The ID Plugin is not set up properly.
- Brizy or another piece of software in your WordPress environment is incompatible with the plugin.
Can you share with us these details?
- The ID plugin's name
- What you hope to accomplish with the plugin

I just tested a new page made in wordpress with my code and it worked fine to display that page in full not as a post. So the ID plugin I have works find with pages, it is just meant to add an ID in place of the ID for example
home page is www.teamxcelerate.com
I have a plugin that when I add the [id] into a link in a button or on a page such as the test page I have https://teamxcelerate.com/test/[id] when you go to that page using the link https://teamxcelerate.com/test/?id=mustsee it puts in that ID into the page where [id] was. so it does not use anything to do with page code or anything it just puts in the ID I tell it to when I use the ?id= at the end of any url on my website.
See this quick video to show you > https://sharing.clickup.com/clip/p/t9017164762/f057dbd3-3cca-4c85-9bb3-5d63f7f0eb9a/screen-recording-2024-01-09-14%3A14.webm
So it must be a setting as I am using the Brizy layout for global settings, and when a new window opens to my website from a link it is opening in post not as a full page for example
http://www.teamxcelerate.com/?id=easy opens in a post view but http://www.teamxcelerate.com opens full page view see video here > https://sharing.clickup.com/clip/p/t9017164762/33910def-c960-486d-98e3-cf1490c4be1c/screen-recording-2024-01-09-14%3A17.webm
So if basic wordpress page is opening in full page view even with my ID plugin, why is the layout with brizy opening any other page on my website as a post view not as a page view, is there a global setting other than in the pro version that I need to turn on like a use pages not posts?
I really appreciate some help, I love Brizy and really want to continue using it to build websites but it has to work with my replication plugin that uses the simple [id] anywhere in the page or in a link0 -
I am using cookiemonster plugin for wordpress to replicate an id at the end of a link from my homepage, homepage is using brizy template for a page.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for recording the video. I understand that the URL parameter that you pass gets displayed on a Gutenberg page while the same does not happen on a Brizy page. Besides the Brizy page does not display well when passing a parameter through the URL. I still have a few more questions
- What is the purpose of passing URL parameters like bob, jim and displaying it on a webpage? What business objective does it help you to achieve?
- I would like to reproduce the problem at our end. What are the steps we must follow?
- I have installed the Cookie Monster plugin. It looks like a simple cookie plugin. I did not find a reference to URL parameter passing in the plugin.

The id in the link is for replicating the homepage urls. So when a person puts their ID in the homepage for example https://www.teamxcelerate.com/?id=Mary any buttons with a link using [id] on that page then displays "mary" in the link in the button so when clicked it forwards people to that person's affiliate page. If you go to Step 4 on the main page http://www.teamxcelerate.com it explains the use of the id
In the cookie plug in for settings use any parameter I chose "id" then default is main user ID like Mary set for 365 days. But the main thing to understand id will work for any id you name going to the main page and then that id will replicate all links on that page that uses that [id] put at the rnd if the link
The problem is the homepage opens in a page. But when you use the http://www.teamxcelerate.com/?id=mary which just sets a parameter it does not open in a full page it opens in a post even tho it is the homepage url

The way to use the id on the page in a button or url to have it replicate would be to use [id] so if there is a url you want to replicate in the homepage when you use the id parameter in the homepage url http://www.teamxcelerate.com/?id=teamxcelerate where id is teamxcelerate
It would replicate the is in the url and take the user to that affiliate url
The link on the page would be set at for.example... https://go20x.com/[id]
Hope that makes sense if not I can do another video with voice to explain

Hi Michael,
Instead of the URL https://www.teamxcelerate.com/?id=Mary please try the URL https://www.teamxcelerate.com/?ID=Mary. The website will display in full width and height. When I tried this example, the button links also changed to https://go20x.com/Mary Please see this screen recording https://jmp.sh/iFetVKRM

It does work with capitalizing ID, no idea why if the [id] set in the plugin is for lowercase, but thank you for the work around!! Really appreciate the assistance and extra effort to help!
