No SSL
Hi,
I've set up a new site at pocketartwork.com and connected my Namecheap domain; however, there has been no SSL issued with this site. I set up the A and CNAME records.
I also set up a subdomain shop.pocketartwork.com on an external e-commerce site. Is it the other site that's responsible for the SSL in this second case?
Regards,
David

Hi David,
A DNS lookup of your domain pocketartwork.com shows the following A Records. Please sign in to your Namecheap account and under the Advanced DNS tab, delete the A Record with the IP: 3.232.178.98

DNS lookup for the host www shows these A Records. Please delete the A Records added to the host www with IP addresses 76.223.88.217 and 13.248.211.84

Once you delete the above three A Records, go to Brizy Cloud Dashboard and in your 'Publish On Your Domain' screen, delete your custom domain, add it again and wait for 15 minutes for the SSL to be autogenerated.

Since the subdomain shop.pocketartwork.com redirects to an external e-commerce site, I assume it has nothing to do with Brizy Cloud.

Hi KC,
I deleted the first A record under the Advanced DNS. I'm not sure where to find the other A records however. Would they be found in Namecheap's C Panel? If so, where?
I previously tried to attach pocketartwork.com to the aforementioned e-commerce site, so would the A records be found somewhere on the backend of that site?

Hi David,
Ideally A Records associated with the host www should also be available under the Advanced DNS tab of your Namecheap account. If you don't find those records, please check with Namecheap support how to delete these A Records.

You can see these A Records by going to https://dnschecker.org/all-dns-records-of-domain.php?query=www.pocketartwork.com&rtype=ALL&dns=google and clicking on 'Lookup DNS' button.
Feel free to share this communication with the Namecheap Support team. Here is the URL https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/15982402183569/

Hi KC,
Namecheap are saying they can only see one A record & they checked on this link:
https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/#A/pocketartwork.com
They say:
If they are checking for www. pocketartwork.com, there are two A records pointed as you have provided.
This issue has to be checked at the end of your hosting provider as the value of blueberry16972115.brizy.site. CNAME carries the IP.Please advise.

Hi David,
Namecheap is right. Those A Records are associated with our hosting. You don't need to delete it. Sorry for misguiding you.
We have fixed the SSL certificate issue. Please check the URL https://www.pocketartwork.com/
