Multiple site elements not working before & after last update!

This seems to happen every few months and is extremely aggravating to me and my client who is extremely upset with me. Please let me know if you need my admin access info to rectify the issue. If so whats the safest way to deliver it to you?

It seamed to take a while for the plugin update to kick in and take effect. Do you have a step by step guide for updating the plugin that you offer that will help make this recurring maintenance of the plugins easier by documenting the quirks and things to be aware of. That would be extremely helpful.
