Help with spam bot signups ecommerce store

Good afternoon Brizy team! 

My client's ecommerce website (built with the fantastic Brizy) is recieving massive amounts of spam / fake customer signups. 

We have commenting on products turned off, but I'd like to try to stop them from registering to begin with. 

Would you be able to reccomend a solution for this?

    Hi again KC, 

    I am still experiencing the issue because I do not see a way to protect the "Register" element - see attached. 

    Is there a way to add reCAPTCHA to this?

    Hi Chris,

    You may need a premium Custom WordPress Registration Form Plugin to protect your WordPress registrations from SPAM. You could consider WP Forms. Please have a look at How to Create a WordPress User Registration Form  You need their 'User Registration addon' for this, which is available only in their premium version.

    You can turn on Administrator Approval for New User Registrations.

    You can also add one of these CAPTCHAs for your registration form.

    • Custom CAPTCHA
    • Google reCAPTCHA
    • hCaptcha
    • Cloudflare Turnstile
