Configuring unlimited custom subdomains

Hi,

Please can you advise how I configure unlimited custom subdomains in Brizy, based on the main custom custom domain being already linked to a Brizy Project? 

I have set up a CNAME record for the subdomain with NameCheap, in addition to the the main  domain CNAM & A records. 

However, I am not able to see any guidance on how to now set this subdomain up in Brizy? Do I create a new project and configure this subdomain as the custom domain for the project and publish?

If that's the case, then how does the 'unlimited' subdomains work. When I try to create a fourth project for an additional subdomain, (I have 3 hosting included in my subscription), I am being asked to upgrade for additional hosted projects.

I am not sure whether I am getting this right? Please can you advise? Many thanks.

    Hi Anil,

    When you say "unlimited custom subdomains in Brizy" are you referring to the "unlimited sites on our domain" mentioned on the Brizy pricing page? 

    This means that you can create unlimited websites using the Brizy sub domain brizy.site. If your subscription plan allows publishing on 3 custom domains, you can publish websites with 3 main or sub domains. Both sub domains and main domains are counted in the number of custom domain allotted to your plan.

    Thank you for the response.

    Just to clarify, I was not referring to the publishing of unlimited sites on Brizy subdomain.

    Please see the following two URL's from Brizy Support which talks about unlimited custom subdomains, if the main domain is hosted with Brizy.

    Pasting the support response screenshot as well for your reference. I have seen this in a few other places as well, and remember reading this when I purchased the subscription few years back, but never needed to try and use it before. However, now when the need arose, I'm not able to do it 😊

    Hi Anil,

    Apart from the standard pricing plans we offer on our website, occasionally we had also offered special deals on the Appsumo platform. The two support requests you have linked above are discussing the special deal offered on Appsumo.

    One of the Appsumo deal we had 3 years ago offered to host unlimited custom sub domains. You can see the expired Appsumo deal here https://appsumo.com/products/brizy/ This was offered as a special promo for a specific duration.

    Thank you for clarifying. I had missed the AppSumo deal, so had purchased a Black Friday deal directly from Brizy around that time I think, which looked similar to the AppSumo deal, with 3 custom domains included, so was under the impression that I had purchased the same deal as AppSumo. But it looks like that was not the case?

    Since I'm grandfathered into a deal which doesn't exist anymore, I'm not able to find the details of what exactly I purchased. Would you have some details in the back end of my account which shows what the original deal package I purchased was please?

    Hi Anil,

    Can you please check the date of purchase of your initial Brizy subscription? To check this, in your email, please do a search for help@paddle.com and look for the confirmation email from Paddle.

    From the date, I can try to locate the Black Friday deal we had at that time.

    I purchased the subscription on 24 Nov 2020. It was based on a Black Friday 30% off deal marketing email from Dimi dated 23 November 2020.
    I have the order id / invoice number etc. But since this is an open chat, not posting it here. If you need it, I can send you the details directly if you let me know how.
