Multilingual Custom Links and Anchor Links Menu Bug
Hi there,
There is a bug in Brizy Cloud related to translated websites and custom/anchor links in the menu: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/9862564153617
It's been 4 months since the last update. I'd like to chime in.
I have translated my website to French using auto-translate. I also have a language switcher in my menu to choose between English and French.
For header menu items that navigate to another page, the /en/ or /fr/ domain url holds true and the correct language is displayed.
However, for header menu items that are custom anchor links directed at sections on the homepage, the language domain url defaults back to native English.
Must I create 2 menu blocks? 1 menu for English with /en/ links, 1 menu for French with /fr/ links?
Here is the domain: https://peach19346343.brizy.site/en/

Hi
To circumvent this bug, kindly consider these steps:
- Add a separate menu for French language
- In the French menu, please add the anchor link following the format /fr/#anchor (see the attached image)
- Duplicate the header. You will have two headers.
- Set one of the headers to display when English language is selected. In the header settings, enable Multi-Language option and set the 'Show if Language' to English
- Set the other header to be display when French is selected. In the header settings, enable Multi-Language option and set the 'Show if Language' to French (see the attached image)
- In the French header, select the French menu.
Please see my test page here https://restaurant1.brizy.site/en/ The anchor link in the menu links to a specific block in both English and French languages.
