REMOVE .html for websites exported as html
Another issue since I had to resort to exporting HTML because sync started showing an error for too many redirects:
my URL shows .html at the end of the permalink.
I've exhausted all of my htaccess tricks to try to remove it.
Why is the HTML file not exported in this format:
/about
index.html
/services
index.html
Instead each of the pages is exported as an html file when they should be in folders to eliminate the .html issue.
What's the fix? If you say to change the file structure to the format above, that is NOT an option. I've got 40 pages or so and I'm not going to do that when all this should be working to begin with.

That doesn't work. I've tried everything in htaccess as I've mentioned above.
