    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Brizy Cloud automatically generates the robots.txt file, all you need to do is go to Project Settings and enable Search Engine Visibility and save the changes.

Robots.txt is one method to let search engines know how you would like your page to be indexed. The other method is using the Robots meta tag. Please have a look at the Robots meta tags you can use under the heading "Valid indexing and serving rules" on the page. You can add these meta tags to the Code Injection - Header in your Brizy Cloud pages. as well

I don't recommend using a subdomain and submitting it to Google search. You may have issues with Google search (such as duplicated content) when you're ready to publish your site using your custom domain name.

With your current free subscription, you can upgrade to Pro, so you will have access to connect your custom domain name - https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360041764052-Custom-domain-A-Record-Redirect-

You don't need to purchase hosting separately, when you sign up for Brizy Cloud, this already includes hosting and access to all the Brizy Pro features including the sticky header and forms.

I am using the 'personal' plan of 'brizy cloud pro'.
Regarding SEO, I received a reply that I do not recommend using subdomain.
They said that it is because there may be problems such as duplicate content with subdomain, but I don't know the exact meaning of it.
Whether it's custom domain or subdomain, why can't it be a subdomain in SEO?
I want to SEO 2 or 3 websites, but the cost is burdensome if I have to raise the plan to 'freelancer' because of this.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

If you intend to use the subdomain for a long time, then you can use the subdomain for SEO. If your subdomain is temporary, don't send it to Google until you have your domain name.

If you have built links to the subdomain during the temporary period, those links will not carry over to the main domain when you make the switch. This means that you may lose some of the link equity that you have built up, which can affect the main domain's search ranking.

Subdomains are considered separate entities from the main domain, the content on the subdomain may not receive the same level of authority or link equity as the main domain. This can make it hard for the subdomain to get a good ranking in search results.

Furthermore, if the subdomain contains content that is not unique and is also present on the main domain or other websites, it may result in issues with duplicate content. Duplicate content can cause search engines to choose one version of the content over the other, potentially leading to a lower search ranking for one or both websites.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

Thank you for the detailed explanation.
You said that the content of 'subdomain' may not receive the same level of authority or link equity as 'custom domain', and that it may be difficult to get a good ranking in the search results.
Does that mean that no matter how much SEO setting is done with "subdomain," there is a limit?
There is no website with the same keyword I want to do SEO, but it is still in the background on the portal I registered as "subdomain" three days ago.
In this situation, if I change to 'custom domain' under the same conditions, can I move to the front rank?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Google ranks subdomains more or less the same as subfolders.
In your case, if you change to a custom domain under the same conditions, it may help you rank higher in search results.
