Brizy Cloud Custom asset url
UPDATE for moderator: after I searched this forum I found out George's post 7 months ago where he wrote, that blog posts and custom assets on Cloud ara accessible via url containing the slug. THAT IS AWESOME :))) So it is working and SEO is not degraded in my example below. So this post is probably obsolete, yet this new feature should be communicated somewhere /maybe it was and I missed it).
Hello, I am not able to make custom asset work as expected. The url after publishing custom asset is missing the custom asset's slug. For exemple, the url should be:
www.mywebsite.com/assetslug/project1 but the “assetslug“ is missing in url.
That's a huge problem that would make the Brizy cloud unusable. Completely unusable for professional work for this scenario: imagine a situation where you have to rebuild a site from another system into Brizy Cloud and you need to keep the urls structure. You just need the custom asset's slug to show in the url. If only because the client has many years of SEO built up. And now he should lose it?
But I believe it's my fault and I'm doing something wrong. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Marek,
Thank you for reaching out and providing your feedback. Currently, it is not possible to have an asset slug like "/category/asset-name" in Brizy Cloud. However, I want to let you know that our team is actively working on implementing this feature. We recognize the importance of maintaining URL structures for SEO purposes, especially when migrating sites from other hosting platforms. Sorry for the inconvenience.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.
Best regards,

Hello
Is this available yet? I am rebuilding a construction company's website with a project gallery and I need to be able to have each project with a URL structure like : website.com/project/project-name. Currently the links to the asset is shortened to a top level page like, website.com/project-name. I noticed if I visit the full path link it is actually a valid URL but how do I get each listing to use the longer URL?

Hi Eva,
Thank you for contacting us. This is a known limitation in Brizy Cloud, and while it's something that's been brought up before, we don’t have an ETA yet for when support for nested URL structures like "website.com/project/project-name" will be available. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If this is an urgent requirement for your project, you might consider using Brizy for WordPress instead, as it offers more flexibility for building a site with a structured project gallery.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.
Best regards,

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. That is really unfortunate as I'd like to use Brizy for larger jobs where URL structure is really important.
I hope it will be on the roadmap soon, especially considering the nested URL actually works as a standalone link.
