Brizy Cloud PRO personal can't add a custom domain
Hello,
I just bought Brizy Pro for Brizy Cloud, but when I try to publish my site to a custom Google Domain, I get an error saying my plan does not include custom domains. Please assist.
Thanks,
Nate

Hi Nate,
You can publish one website using a custom domain and as many websites as you want using a Brizy subdomain with your subscription plan. Since you have already published one website using custom domain (dorsoncommunity.org), you might be encountering this issue when attempting to publish a second one.

Thanks for the response, George! I was thinking the same however, I JUST bought Brizy Cloud Pro yesterday and dorsoncommunity.org has been live on that custom domain for ~3 years so I was under the impression that I was paying for the ability to publish to another custom domain.
My guess is that the account owner had a lifetime free access to Brizy features that may have ended or something?
Either way, if we need to start paying for dorsoncommunity.org, I would like to ask if you could help me move a project to another account since we would have to pay for the sites separately due to one being a nonprofit. I tried moving the project yesterday, but I do not have the option to “move” it.

Hi Nate,
Indeed, the only subscription plan that is currently available in your account is the 'Personal Cloud'.
You could use the cloning feature to migrate a project from one account to another. Please have a look at this tutorial for the procedure. Clone Entire Projects with URL in Brizy Cloud in under 15 seconds!

Thanks! Unfortunately, it seems like I have access to the old builder so there is no option for cloning. Is there any way to upgrade my builder? Or do I need to save the site as a layout and rebuild in a new account?

Hi Nate,
Websites that were developed before Feb 2021 follow the older project format and these do not have newer features like blogging, translation, cloning, collaboration etc. Most of the projects in your account (except InStrive - cloned) were developing using the older project format and cannot be cloned.
To recrate these projects in a new account, please consider these steps.
- Save each page of the project as a layout and download each saved layout
- Import downloaded layouts to a another Brizy Cloud account
- Add new pages and import saved layout to respective pages
- Copy paste global typography and colors from one project to another.
- Create menu and redo email notifications for forms
- Add the custom domain to the new project.
